Italy : Mommy, can I wear my blue hair bow? - she says to Fatima as she looks at her mother's reflection through the mirror-

Fatima : - spraying water on Italy's hair- Nugget, we decided on the black one since it matches your outfit. Can you wear the black one today for mommy? -she says as she brushes Italy's hair up-

Italy : Okay mommy. Can I wear the sparkly black bow instead of the plain one? -she asks as she holds up her shimmery sparkly black hair bow in her hand-

Fatima : -chuckles- Yes, Italy mamas you can. -she says as she creates a high top center bun in Italy's head-

Italy : -smiles- Thank you mommy. I like the sparkly hair bows instead of the plain ones.

Fatima : -tucking Italy's hair in; underneath the bun- I know you do beautiful. Are you nervous? -she asks as she grabs the edge brush from in front of Italy-

Italy : No. I'm excited and happy. Do you think best friend will be happy? - she asks her mother with a hint of nervousness in her voice-

The weekend flew by extremely fast and the new week day has arrived. Today was the day that Zac was finally coming home. It is currently Monday evening, and the workday was over for Fatima. As well as the school day for Italy and Malayiah. When Fatima and the girls got home, they all went and showered. Fatima made the girls a quick meal since they were heading out to pick up Zac and the boys from the airport. After Fatima dished up, she went into her beauty room with Italy.

Fatima is currently fixing Italy's hair since it was a little frizzy from today's events at school. She was able to get name change papers drawn up for her with the help Andi. Andi works for the top law firm in Atlanta, where she was just made partner last year. Since Zac and Fatima are not legally married yet, Zac can not adopt Italy. So, Fatima went the other route which is changing Italy's name legally. Andi was able to get paperwork from the courts to give to Fatima. In the state of Georgia, you have to be married to adopt your stepchild.

Still knowing this, Fatima made Italy a customized shirt. The shirt is black and white with the words "Hey Dad! You Are My Forever Home. Will You Adopt Me?" written on the front of it. Italy made Zac a card with a drawing of the two of them inside of the card. She wrote inside of the card "You will always be my best friend but I would like to call you dad. I love you dad." Fatima paired Italy's shirt with some black ruffle socks, Italy's black converse shoes, a black jean jacket, and a black jean mini skirt. Italy started calling Zac "best friend" when she was two years old due to Fatima. One day, Zac and Fatima were arguing with each other. Fatima started calling Zac her "best friend" to annoy him. After hearing those words, Italy began to repeat after her mother.

Zac nor Fatima ever corrected her because Zac always wanted Italy to call him dad when she was ready to. He never made a difference between her or the boys. Whenever anyone would ask, he would always say that Italy was his daughter.

Fatima : -putting the sparkly bow in Italy's head- I know for sure that he will be happy. Tinky, you don't have to be nervous. At anytime if you don't wanna go through with it, you can let me know. Zac loves you very much. When you were mommy's little baby he was there. There were nights when mommy was very tired and he would take care of you. One morning, when you were little, he called himself combing through your curly thick hair. That's why mommy doesn't let him comb your hair now. -she says laughing-

Italy : -giggles- Mommy, I only liked it when he combed my hair for crazy day at school. He put a toilet paper roll in my hair.

Fatima : -laughs- At least he tried mamas and it's called crazy hair day. Are you sure that you're okay with calling him dad today? -she says as she closes up the hair products on the vanity-
