Elena Silver, was now walking into the high school. Somewhere she didn't want to be right now. Even though she was known to be smart she still didn't like coming to school. She stopped by Eli's locker so she can catch up with him.
"Hey Eli" Elena said walking up to his locker. "Oh hey Elena, haven't seen you since the last time we were at the waterpark." Eli said hugging her. "I know. It's been like a month but it still feels long. So what's your first period today?" Elena said looking down at his schedule.
"Biology" Eli said looking up at Elena. "Same. Wanna walk there right now or stop by Demetri locker?" Elena said grabbing her backpack strap. "Umm we can go to biology now because he's probably already at his class knowing him." Eli said laughing. "Alright. Let's go." Elena said chuckling.

It was lunch time and the trio had got their lunches and sat at their normal lunch table. Across the cafeteria, Elena saw her sister with the popular kids. She rolled her eyes at how quickly her sister can change. She also looked over Aisha to make sure she was okay.
"Is it cool if I sit here?" A shy boy said coming up to their table. "Sorry table's really blowing up right now." Demetri said. This caused Elena to roll her eyes at the boy's sarcasm. "I can put you on the waitlist, but it's probably next semester at the earliest." Demetri said continuing.
"Omg" Elena muttered. "Ok" the shy boy said walking away. "No I'm kidding. Sit." Demetri before the other boy could walk off. "Miguel." The boy said sitting down next to Elena. "Elena. This is Eli and Demetri. Elena said smiling. "Eli is a man of few words." Demetri said eating his lunch.
In less than a second, Elena saw Yasmine and Sam walk by looking like they own the place. She rolled eyes but her eyes shifted to the way Miguel eyes followed Sam.
"Dude don't torture yourself. Those are the rich girls." Demetri said after he noticed Miguel's eyes following Sam. "Do you ever talk to them or..." Miguel asked specifically looking at Elena.
"I used to but they let the popularity get to them the only one I'm still cool with is Moon and also Sam stole my ex boyfriend so that kinda was the start of it but till to this day I can't stand them especially Sam." Elena said mean mugging the table across the cafeteria.
"To answer your question. We do talk to them all the time. We hang out after school, make out, give each other hand jobs." Demetri said full of sarcasm. "You can't give girls hand jobs." Elena said correcting Demetri.
"Eli here is the homecoming king. Gets laid more than anyone isn't that right, Eli?" Demetri said making Eli smile a little. "Talk to them? You realize what table you're sitting at right?" Demetri asked Miguel.
"You've pretty much signed away all hopes of losing your virginity before college." Demetri added. "What.." Elena said confused. "Oh shit. Yasmine is looking at us." Eli said trying to look elsewhere.
"Ugh who cares? Fuck that table except Moon of course." Elena said looking at Eli. "Probably just making fun of me." Eli said sadly. "I don't think she's making fun of you." Miguel said reassuring Eli. "I mean, just because they're hot doesn't mean they're mean." Miguel said looking over at the girls table.
"Oh Miguel. Yea that does apply to some people but with them it doesn't apply. They're not nice at all they're literally bullies but if you think that's hot then I don't know what to tell you." Elena said to Miguel.
"I don't care if Yasmine is the meanest girl at school. I'll kill all three of y'all just to get her to spit in my face." Demetri said turning to the other three. "If you don't make a move, you'll never have a shot." Miguel said to Demetri making Elena nod in agreement.
"True, but I'll also never suffer a humiliating rejection. I'm at peace with my depression. Last thing I need to be is suicidal." Demetri said playing with his lunch food. "Well that got deep." Elena said. Elena noticed how Miguel kept looking over at the table across the cafeteria. He then got up from his chair making the other three confused.
"What are you doing?" Demetri and Elena asked at the same time. "Striking first." Miguel said walking over to the other table. Few seconds later, Kyler came and sat with Sam. Miguel went back to his seat obviously angry. "So how'd it go?" Demetri asked Miguel sassily.

School had ended and Elena was in her Mercedes driving home. She dropped off Aisha, a friend of hers, at her house before going to her house. They said their goodbyes and Elena drove off.
Elena arrived at her house and went inside. "Mom I'm home!" Elena yelled. Instead of her mom coming down the stairs it was her little brother. "Mom had a meeting to do and she said you fix me food." Elena's little brother smiled evilly.
"Adrian, you're 12. You know how to cook the things in this house. Do it yourself I got homework to do." Elena lied as she walked up to her room.

"Yea. He is so cute like I don't know I know he's a nerd but he's cute." Moon said on the other end of the phone. "Talk to him." Elena said encouraging Moon to talk to Eli. "So what about you? The new boy caught your eye yet?" Moon asked Elena.
"Umm he's cute but he has his eyes on Sam." Elena said with venom. "Ohhh umm but Sam has a boyfriend." Moon said confused. "Oh she'll break up with him, just to get with another guy." Elena said. "I have to go but goodnight." Moon said. "Goodnight." Elena said hanging up the phone.

Ooooo Elena and Miguel met! What do u think abt this chapter? Also, this might be a slow burn I'm honestly not sure if I'll make it a slow slow burn!
