I should move to a brand new city
And teach myself how to die.-brand new city, mitski.
I check my phone, no new messages from
Alhaitham? Expected, but I'm quite disappointed.I sigh. I cannot give up, I will not take this L.
I'll make sure I get the W, instead of the L.
I will win Alhaitham over. It's embarrassing to admit, but Layla has raised my spirits greatly. But little did y/n know, she had already won his heart.
I feel a wave of euphoria and determination wash over me. I pull out my phone and text Alhaitham.

Alhaitham's pov
I check my phone, no new messages from the number that's recently texted me. How odd, I seem to find myself almost.. missing their texts? That can't be possible I've grown fond of this person. I don't do such things.
I try to reassure myself it's fine, perhaps they were busy.
"Killjoy! What's got you so tense?" Kaveh laughs at the sight in front of him.
"Mind your own buisness, Kaveh." I spout. Glaring daggers at Kaveh.
"Is that so? Then what's that notification from your phone?" Kaveh tries to get a glimpse of the notification, but I quickly hide my phone.
"Don't pry in buisness Kaveh, you don't see me asking why you brought a girl home when I wasn't here." I say sternly, crossing my arms.
Kaveh, due to being embarrassed steps down.
"You won this one I guess." He huffs and crosses his arms, averting his eyes to look anywhere but me. What a child.I chuckle at his actions. And with that, I slam my laptop shut, checking my notifications from my phone.
I can't help but crack a small smile at who sent me a text, y/n. Obviously she didn't say who she was, but it's quite obvious.
