Mikki was stuck between giving a f*ck or no f*cks at all. Seriously her emotions were all over the place as she sat beneath the tree of feeling staring at nothing for hours. As for Dream he watched her with deep concern. All he could feel was negativity from his new sibling. Dream was almost afraid to speak to them again. He didn't want to upset the other but knew he had to do something. Before he could say anything to Mikki, said skeleton spoke.

Mikki: Chandra.

Dream: What?

Chandra: My name is. My name is Chandra.

Dream brighten up in excitement to hear his sibling talking to him. He quickly hugged Chandra as she remained still with a nonchalant look.

Dream: Oh! It's nice to meet you, Brother!

Chandra: I'm a girl.

Dream: I mean sister. So sorry Chandra!

Dream let go of his sister, embarrassed, rubbing the back of his skull. Chandra just reverted back to being quiet as Dream moved closer to sit next to her. He held her hand nervously fearing she would pull away. To his relief, Chandra didn't pull away from his hand because she felt demoralized at the moment but still wanted comfort. During all this time, Chandra had time to think about her death and rebirth and the problems that could arise.

Chandra is so happy her irrational habit of looking up random things on the internet came in handy for once. That means she knows the dreamtale canon story. Which she knows she is not in. The reason for this is because she is a female skeleton. Reason number two: Her and Dream can feel each other's emotions. Reason number three: Both seem to feel positive and negative emotions without the apples and have a twin bond thing.

Meaning she is probably in a copy of a dreamtale or in a force god of destruction universe or both. Neither answer was acceptable for Chandra. She has to deal with an evil nightmare if she is in a copy of Au in the canon universe. If it is a forced god destruction universe she has to deal with ink stupidity. If both were the case, she wouldn't even want to think about them.

In spite of Chandra's desire to feel depressed or nothing at all, she must focus on the present. In the future, she can suffer from depression or numbness episodes at her own pace. Right now she has to come up with a plan for Dream and those damned villagers. It is always canon when it comes to negative guardians that they get abused by the villagers or even both siblings. Chandra knows she is not very smart being a slow kid growing up but by Toby Fox she will try.

Although Chandra doesn't see Dream as a brother right now, she will soon accept him as one knowing her personality for family. Chandra closed her eye sockets moving closer to Dream laying her head on his shoulder and signing to herself. She was already stressed about the future. Chandra had to avoid making the same mistake as them. Dream frowned when he saw the stress on his sister's face.

Days later

Chandra was just standing up with her arms crossed and leaning on the tree of feeling less stress but she has been a lazybones for days now. She never leaves the tree that much. Fearing venturing into the woods unlike her brother who was out searching for food. Could you blame her for that? Chandra has lived in a house in a town miles away from the woods. She lacks outdoor service skills.

It took her a few days to adjust to sleeping outside. Dream had to forced Chandra to fall asleep because she was scared to sleep outside where wild animals might attack them. And she was not used to sleeping on the harsh cold ground. Chandra would help him but like what was said before she was scared of the woods. Sometimes she only went a few feet from the tree of feeling or went further if her brother was there.

Chandra has just been thinking of ways how to stay alive or not turn into an evil goopy octopus. Well it's not like she has anything to do around here. Other than learning how to use her magic which is difficult to do. Sometimes she and her brother practice magic to sharpen their skills. As a matter of fact, she has to ask her brother if he wants to practice summoning their weapons again. Soon after that, she thought that Dream had walked out of the woods toward her with fruit in hand.

Dream: SISTER!!! I'm back!

Chandra: Brother, please don't be so loud.

Dream: Sorry about that, but you could sound more excited to see me.

Chandra: I am excited. Can't you tell from my face big bro?

Dream: Sometimes I could never tell with you sister.

Chandra pouted without realizing she was making a cute face. Making Dream think about how adorable his sister really is even though Chandra doesn't believe she is at all. She grabbed some fruit from her brother's hand and ate it. With a thoughtful look, Dream ate as well. Chandra saw this and wondered what was on his mind.

Chandra: What are you thinking about?

Dream: Just thought why don't you come into the woods with me tomorrow?

Chandra: Sure why not. Just not too far since I don't like being there too long.

Dream: Yay! We will have the funniest time ever!

Chandra: I have to overcome this fear sooner or later.

Dream: Don't worry sister whatever comes our way I will protect you!

Chandra: Oh my brave knight in shining armor. I believe in you.

In response to her brother's words about protecting her, Chandra laughs playfully. Seeing this Dream walked over to his sister giving her a hug and rubbing his cheek bone on her face with a pout. Chandra hugged her brother back rolling her eye lights at him. Dream felt like as the older twin brother he needed to protect his sister from dangerous things. It was worrisome how stressed she had been since waking up. In his observation, he noticed she never took breaks when she used her magic or stayed up for hours without going to sleep. Hopefully, Dream will be able to take off whatever is on his sister's mind so she would have fewer worries and sleep more.
