Dark Skies 'Into the Dark'

Prolog

Running as fast as I could through the forest as if u were a bullet dodging trees. I came to a halt as blood curdling screams ran through my heard, cupping my ears I fell to my knees in fear as if I could feel their pain, their hurt.

Their screams became louder, closer, in panic I stumbled to my feet and began running like before. Every once in a while I looked back to see what had caused their screams, but all I saw was darkness.

All of a sudden I was lying on the ground, I'd wondered what had caused my sudden stop when I felt a wet sensation spread over my body. I jumped up and noticed that I had tripped and landed in a pond of water.

Starting down I saw my reflection in the pond, I was sopping wet but that didn't matter, I was covered in blood, it was dripping from my mouth, I let out a scream of terror but it didn't sound like the ones befor. I stood paralysed as I relised that I had been the one who had caused those horred screams.
