Malleus Draconia x GN! Reader

(A/n) The reader is gender neutral so their pronouns are They/Them in this one shot. I hope you all enjoy! Sorry for not posting in a bit burn out is a pain to deal with.

{You wish to join my club?}

(Y/n) has always loved learning new things. Wether it's from a book or hands on they love learning about everything and anything. (Y/n) has been wanting to join a club but wasn't sure what club they should join. (Y/n) had already thought if a few clubs they had thought about possibly joining like the Science Club, the Mountain Lovers Club, and Board Game Club. But then they heard about another club called Gargoyle research society to which immediately caught their attention as they haven't done a lot of research before on Gargoyles so they decided to try and see if they could join that club. However there was a small issue and that was that (Y/n) had no idea where they could find the club leader Malleus Draconia. It took some time but they finally found the club leader Malleus Draconia in the library reading a book about gargoyles. They stood hesitant for a moment before they decided to walk over to Malleus Draconia. As they approached Malleus they saw him turn around to face them which slightly surprised (Y/n) as they didn't think Malleus heard them approaching. "Was it you that I heard has been looking for me?" Malleus asked (Y/n) who was once again surprised as they didn't think people knew they were searching for him. Not wanting to seem rude (Y/n) says to Malleus "Yes I was actually looking for you. I heard you were the club leader for the Gargoyle research society club. Is that correct for me to assume?" To which after they asked him Malleus looks at (Y/n) before saying to them "Why yes I'm the club leader and well the only club member of the Gargoyle research society club. May I ask why you asked me about it?" To which after Malleus says that (Y/n) takes a deep breath before they responded to Malleus with "Well I was wondering if I could join the Gargoyle research society club? The club seems very interesting to me so I was wondering if I could join it." (Y/n) says to Malleus who looks at (Y/n) with a surprised look on his face. He never thought the day would come that somebody would want to join his club, and the fact it finally happened caught him off guard. He snapped out of his shock as he asked (Y/n) "You want to join my club? Are you certain you do?" To which (Y/n) nods their head and says to Malleus "Yes I'm certain that I want to join your Gargoyle research society club." To which after hearing (Y/n) confirm they really want to join his Gargoyle research society club he had a smile on his face as he says to them "Well after you sign the club joining paperwork, you're more than welcome to join the Gargoyle research society club." To which (Y/n) smiles at Malleus and says to him "Thank you so much Malleus I'll get that paperwork finished as soon as possible." (Y/n) says to Malleus who was also happy with the news that someone wanted to join his club. A bit of time passes and (Y/n) had finished signing the club papers to join the Gargoyle research society club. (Y/n) and Malleus would not just research about gargoyles or walk around the Night Raven College to examine the gargoyles but they also started chatting to get to know one another. To this day (Y/n) and Malleus are still great friends and still enjoy the Gargoyle research society club as well.
