I told her information that I thought she would accept. I couldn't completely recall what I said, I was a nervous wreck. I was taking a huge risk by giving false information but giving none at all was worse. "They told me that they were not happy with the new presidential campaign. They didn't want a woman running..." She stopped me by raising her hand.

"So why did they come after you?" Her eyes were cold and I knew she didn't believe me. So why was she letting me continue? I was tongue tied. "I don't know, I asked but they didn't answer. I think they had wanted to make a big deal of another teen getting kidnapped and tortured..."

I almost wanted to sigh in relief at how smoothly that answer came. I had no idea how I came up with it. She nodded and sighed, folding her arms in front of her. "I will think about your answers and get back to you. In the meantime..." She reached up to the ropes at my wrists and pulled them away. I yelled at her to stop when I figured out what she was doing.

I dropped to the floor in agony. My arms are finally released. My knees hit hard on the ground and immediately I fell to my side and hugging my body. So much pain. No place on my body didn't hurt. Nothing could register other then how much pain I was in.

I didn't see her leave.

Still so much waiting pain. I refused to move my arms after the sudden reposition. I was still in a ball but if I moved my arms back up into what they had grown used to all this time then the pain would just grow. If she knew I was lying...I would be forced into so many positions at once that I would never stop screaming.

I could t decide what was worse.

The pain or the fear.
