Joshua said when he noticed that Tylli was glancing at him from time to time. Then, he looked at Tylli, but immediately returned his gaze on the road as he was driving.

It took Tylli quite some time to answer.

Do you want to talk about anything?

Still there was no response from Tylli.

Tylli

There was silence inside the card, but her heart hammered in her chest like she just drank five cups of coffee.

I've been in denial with my feelings since we've spoken in Sabrina's wedding.. I let my anger control me—hatred blinded me.

And that's it. Tylli finally said what she really feels.

Joshua sighed. It wasn't the reaction Tylli expected from him. Joshua continued driving until he saw a space on the side of the road and parked there.

Gab, are you sure? Maybe you're just feeling this because your friend just got married and you feel left out..

No.. no, Josh. This is what I truly feel..

Joshua reached out on Tylli's side. He opened the compartment and pulled out a red velvet box.

After he said that, he went out of his car and moved to her side to open the door. He held his hand and helped her get out of the car. The moment she was out, he led her under the shade of the tree.

Gabrielle, it's hard to tell you what I really feel right now.. I'm out of words, but rest assured I will show you how much I love you when we are together because it's easier that way.

From the moment I realized I loved you back in senior high school until now that we crossed paths again, I know every instance was, is, and will be about you. You don't just matter to me, Tylli Gabrielle—you are my everything.

Tylli's eyes started to water. Joshua said that he can't put what he truly feels towards her into words, but for Tylli, it was all she ever wanted to hear.

Joshua knelt down on one knee and unboxed the red velvet box. It revealed a simple yet dazzling ring, perfectly made just the way she likes it. Joshua looked up to Tylli, the reflected light lit up her face, making her more beautiful than ever.

Tylli Gabrielle, I will choose you every day and in every part of my life.. from now on until eternity, will you marry me?

By the time Joshua finished asking the question, Tylli was already crying—a quiet contentment spread through her.

You already know my answer to this, Josh, but before I say it, I jusy want to tell you a few conditions.

Whatever it is, Gab, I'll let you have it your way.

Tylli
I want to keep my surname after we get married.

Joshua
You'll keep it, Gab. You will still be my wife even without my surname after your name. Just say yes.

Tylli
Yes! Yes.. I will marry you, Joshua Maddox.

Joshua's heart throbbed with happiness. His hands shook as he slid the ring on Tylli's finger.

He pulled her into his arms—his hands slipped down her curves as he drew her in. His face bent down into hers in slow motion, while she saw a glimpse of their future right before she felt his hot mouth close over hers.
