Still Not Over You

As this story ends, the You series also ends.

I started writing this story in my 11th year in senior high school. Sobrang cringe ng original plot nito, I swear! At first, I was planning na Into You lang ang story. Only my friends knew about my stories. They were my first readers, but I did not imagine to receive huge support from the readers and it led to a whole series. I'm really thankful sa inyo, guys. Also, as I grew older, na realize ko na I need to change something sa stories ko. You may have noticed it dahil minsan ay ina-unpublish ko sila to edit. There's nothing wrong with change. Habang tumatanda kasi tayo at habang may natututunan tayong bago ay bumabago rin ang perspective natin sa buhay.

I'm in my 3rd year in college now. I've changed. I've been busy—really busy. I had no time to give updates and I suffered writer's block pa. I sincerely apologize for my shortcomings, guys. I was overwhelmed by the pressure that was on my shoulders. But I'm here now. Fulfilling the promise I made a long time ago that I will finish what I have started.

Here are a few fun facts about the series:

• Into You was inspired of a person na itatago na lang natin sa initials na J.M.D. (same initials ni Joshua? 🤭)

• The series originally have 6 stories.
- Into You: Joshua and Tylli's
- Crush, I Love You: Marco and Crizha's
- Hate that I Love You: Aiden and Janette's
- Only Reminds Me of You: Karl and Suzy's
- Waiting for You: Yanna and Asul's
- Stuck on You: Louie and Ellah's (I forgot the exact name, but omg! Revelation!)

• The girl characters are inspired by my friends. Their names have a touch of their real names haha.

• Some usernames that I used in the story are real accounts (ang iba ay baka sa akin or sa mga friends ko, I couldn't think of any IG usernames na siguro when I wrote those parts haha)

• When I was looking for portrayers for Joshua, wala talaga akong maisip na tao, but then I saw a tweet na nagsasabi na parang bf material daw si Mingyu ng SVT. I stalked him sa IG, and I couldn't think of any person pa na fit sa standards ko for Joshua's character. Because of him, I became a carat too!

• Some traits of my characters are based on my own traits (e.g. Janette's passion for film making and photography, Tylli taking up Education, Crizha's interest in human anatomy and science stuffs, etc.)

I think that's all. Wala na akong maisip! Hahaha.

Lastly, as I close this chapter, let me remind you all that we all deserve a second chance, BUT not for the same mistake. It's up to you to decide whether it is worth it or not.
