A/n: 06.08.23, I went back and changed a tiny thing in "The Book" because I didn't feel like it made any sense. I switched it so that the ghouls/drows (I'm just gonna call them ghouls) act out during full moons and are more comfy during new moons. I hope that's okay :)

The rest of the day following my talk with Phantom was filled with activity. Mostly packing up tour outfits, instruments, and other gear. On top of that, the news that a slumber party was being planned had reached the other ghouls.
"Hey, I heard you guys were having a sleepover." Mountain's eyes sparkled with curiosity, a glint of excitement dancing in them. "Yeah, we are." Phantom responded, grinning mischievously. I playfully nudged Phantom with my elbow, silently conveying for him to invite Mountain. He didn't get the hint. "And you're welcome to join!" I beamed up at Mountain, my excitement matching his own. I then gave Phantom a playfully stern look for not inviting him first.
"I would love to." Mountain replied sweetly, a wide smile grazing his face. "It will be in my trailer, by the way." I informed him, still beaming. The thought of a slumber party with the ghouls felt like a dream come true, like an extension of my already lucky position. "I will be there. Just say when!" He skipped away happily, a spring in his step, and I couldn't help but giggle at his childlike behaviour.
Phantom turned to me with a look of uncertainty, mirroring my subconcious. "So I guess we should invite everyone, then..." I nodded slowly, knowing what he meant. Inviting one ghoul mean inviting them all - that was the nature of their group. But the reality of the situation quickly sank in. The ghouls were known for their rowdiness, I had seen it firsthand when I would hang out with them in the evenings. If they were already a handful then, I shuddered to think how they would be at a sleepover, especially after hearing about "the incident."
"Well, yes." I answered, hiding my thoughts of doubt behind a small smile. Phantom inhaled sharply. "Then you might want to reconsider having it in your trailer." He gently suggested, likely wanting to spare my feelings. "I'm sorry, but there just isn't enough room. Even if we tried to squeeze us all in." What he said made sense, so I tried to think of a suitable alternative.
"Wait. We're gonna be on the road today." Phantom reminded me, and himself, it seemed. I tilted my head, curious as to what he was about to say. "How about we just have it on the tour bus? The trailers will be coming after us anyway." I mentally facepalmed, completely overlooking that detail, but at least now we had a solution. I assumed the bus already had beds, supposedly enough for all of us. That made me wonder why the ghouls had a trailer of their own if they had everything they needed on that bus to begin with. They probably had their reasons, so I wasn't going to ask about it.
"That's a great idea!" I exclaimed, a wide smile on my face. Phantom smiled and looked down at his feet, seeming flustered by the compliment. "Thank you, devil." He smirked boldly. His previous bashful demeanour was gone. My eyes widened at the name, and I looked at him, questioning. "I have a feeling that nickname is gonna stick." I commented, dreading the answer. "Oh, you bet it will." He replied, and flashbacks from Sodo calling me an imp rushed back.
Mixed emotions must've shown on my face since Phantom was quick to notice. "I won't call you that if you don't like it, I promise." He assured, his expression softening. I appreciated Phantom's consideration and gave a grateful smile. "It's alright, I'm just gonna have to get used to it." I replied, playfully winking to show that my discomfort had evaporated. As I looked into Phantom's soft eyes for a bit too long, I felt myself get all warm.
