Shinazugawa Genya was always angry and aggressive. At least that's what everyone else thought.
But, it was all because of his messed up past, which also led to him keeping distance from his own big brother, Shinazugawa Sanemi.
He would do anything to apologise to his brother, for he knew he cared for him very much...
Only if... Sanemi gave him a chance.

It was morning. The sun had come up and birds had started chirping.
Genya was still sleeping. He was in the Butterfly Mansion since he had a lot of injuries on his body, his last fight with a Demon was a bit serious.
"Genya, wake up, it's time for you to take your medicines!"
Genya's eyes fluttered open, only to find the blue-eyed girl, Aoi, standing right in front of him.
He got up and looked around.
"Ah! Good morning, Genya!"
A sweet and cheerful voice of a young boy was heard.
Who the heck?
Genya immediately turned around to find Tanjiro sitting on a bed next to him.
No wonder it's Tanjiro...
He thought.
"You've got a lot of injuries, are you feeling better?"
Tanjiro asked.
"That's none of your business."
Snapped Genya as he gulped up the medicine.
"That was kind of harsh..."
Tanjiro turned to look at Aoi.
"Well, do you know how long it would take for Genya to recover completely?"
Tanjiro asked her.
"Well... if he takes a good amount of rest and does exactly what we tell him to, he will recover soon enough!"
Aoi replied.
"I see..."
Tanjiro said quietly.
"But there's one exception."
Aoi said.
"What?"
Tanjiro and Genya asked together.
"It's that Genya doesn't listen!"
Aoi snapped.
"What do you mean? I have been doing exactly what you told me since the time I came here!"
Genya replied.
"Oh really? Well then, did you eat the dinner that I told you to eat last night?"
Asked Aoi.
"...No."
"Exactly!"
Aoi said.
"I was just not hungry, okay? There's nothing I can do about it!"
Genya replied.
"If you don't eat you won't be able to recover!"
Aoi said.
"Yeah whatever..."
Genya replied.
"Oh gosh!"
Tanjiro said quietly to himself.
Aoi turned to look at Tanjiro.
"And you, you also need to take your medicines!"
She said.
"Okay!"
Tanjiro smiled at her.
"Ara Ara~"
A soft voice from behind, alarmed the three teenagers.
"Kocho-Sama!"
Aoi turned around to find the Insect Hashira, Kocho Shinobu standing there.
"Good morning!"
Shinobu wished them.
"Good morning."
Aoi and Tanjiro replied. Perhaps, Genya didn't want to reply.
"How are they?"
Asked Shinobu.
"They're alright. Just a little bit of rest and they'll be completely fine!"
Aoi replied.
"I see..."
Shinobu took a closer look at both the boys.
"You're right, they should be fine. It doesn't look so serious."
She told her.
Just as they were talking, Genya's crow flew in, they didn't notice at all.
"A MEETING! A MEETING IN A WEEK!"
Everyone turned around to find the crow right there.
"Geez! What are you doing here all of a sudden?"
Asked Genya.
"YOU HAVE A MEETING WITH THE MASTER IN A WEEK!"
Genya turned to look at Shinobu, who began,
"A whole week? You'll be completely fine till then, so it's alright."
Genya exhaled softly, "Okay." He said.
