i stopped doing the naming-chapter things, and now imma just switch pov's 'kay?
Keefe's Pov (surprise!)
"but.. you haven't explained why we're here, Keefe" Nico said, sitting up.
"'kay well your up so now i'll explain." he started. "so, when i was in the lost cities me and Dex started getting signals right before Sophie woke up-"
he was cut off bye Ro who started laughing. when she was done she straightened and wiped her eyes. "that is not even close to what happened." she looked at the girls and began talking rapidly. "Keefe was by Sophie's bedside every day waiting for her to wake up so Dex started tryna make a gadget or something that might help her wake up.but then keefe took stuff into his own hands and.. anyways! Dex started getting these weird signals on his device thingy so he tracked them down to you two. Keefe found out and insisted on running off again, literally a day after his girlfriend woke up. before he left he told Dex where he was going and gave him an imparter to contact himself if Dex needed to. Dex in retur explained what the signals were, and what you two were." she finished, taking a breath.
"um.. okay then. what are we?" Mika asked, looking confused and startled.
"your Halflings." Keefe said, shooting a glance at Ro.
"and a Halfling is..?" Nico murmured.
"its half elf and half any other intelligent species." he replied.
"um- so your saying, we're half elf?! like- we have special abilities like you?" Nico asked, staring straight at Keefe.
"yes."
