before dawn

*beep beep beep beep* goes my alarm. At first I turn around grumpy because I don't want to wake up yet. But then I realise what day it is and I jump out of bed super exited. Today was going to be the very first day of filming the new Pirates of the caribbean movie. And with Jenna Ortega too. I rushed to the bathroom to brush my teeth, comb my hair and do my makeup. I then put on a nice outfit and ate some breakfast. We first had to film some scenes at the studio and then we had to take a plane to a deserted island. I was really nervous too because this was my first real movie. I only played in some commercials.

I left my home and got in my car. I bought it last week because it was my 18th birthday. It was a drive of about 2 hours to get to the studio. When I got there I parked my car in my own assigned spot and walked into the building. "Heyy Eleanor! Nice to see you again" said a man. That was Dave, He is one of the pruducers and probably one of the nicest people you will ever meet. I greet him and take some coffee to wake up. "Hey Eleanor! You look amazing" I heard someone say. I turned around and saw it was Jenna. "Hey! Thank you" I smile. I met her a few times before but it was still strange to just hang out with celeberties. She smiles at me "wanna go for a smoke?" I smile "yeah sure" I follow her outside and we sit down. "Here" she hands me a cigarette. "Thank you lord" I say jokingly.

After a while of sitting and talking they call us inside to start filming. We filmed some scenes and after about 4 hours we were ready to get into the bus and head off to the airport. Not so many people were joining us because it was mostly me and Jenna who they needed for these scenes. The only other actors were some figurants and some other people who played our pirate crew. And ofcourse the camera men and producers like dave. Me and jenna sat in the back. We were hyper and laughing a lot. "Oh I can't wait to see some sun on that island" Jenna says. I laugh "yeah and sand and sea". We kept talking about how exited we were. Even Jenna was exited even though she played in way bigger films.

A few hours later we arrived at the airport. We got out of the car and immediately there was a LOT of paparazzi. Me and Jenna walked fast because some grazy fans were trying to get to us. She was pretty used to it but for me it is quite overwhelming. I got a bit nervous and when Jenna noticed she smiles at me comforting. "it's okay, we have bodyguards for a reason they won't let them jump us". She was right. I had mark, he was my bodyguard and he was very funny and also super strong.

We hurried to the desk and checked in. We got a private part in the plane which apperently was pretty normal but I wasn't used to being treated like this at all. The flight was about 7 hours so I hung back in my chair and tied my hair in a bun. Jenna was sitting in the seat next to me and the rest was a few rows back. We put on girlmore girls and watched the movie together. We kept giggling and realised that was probably the reason why everyone was sitting a few rows away from us. When the movie finished I got really tired and fell asleep. Little did I know I fell asleep on Jennas shoulder. She smiles and tucks my hair behind my ear.

"Everyone hold tight!!!!" I hear someone yell as I wake up. I sit up and notice everyone stressing and the oxygen masks going down. Jenna puts one on my face fast and then I see what's wrong. The plane was going down above the ocean. "Jenna what happened?!" I yell scared. "I dont know!!" She says while holding the chair tight. The plane was going down faster now and we held on as tight as we could. Then suddenly it all went black.
