Zoe: Hey Mari!
Marinette: Hey zoe, did u have to wake me up at 7 on a Sunday?
Zoe: sorry lol 🤭
Marinette: it's alright ig
Zoe: just wondering-do u wanna go bowling in 3 hours? U have to say yes, I already booked us in 😎
Marinette: sure thing!
Zoe: k, I'll pick u up!
Marinette: that doesn't sound right 😆
Zoe: SHUSH 😜

Marinette smiled, but then realised she had never bowled before. Oh gosh. But then she had more to worry about. Her phone pinged. It was adrien.

Adrien: Hey ❤️❤️ Wanna go out at 10 😚
Marinette: srry I'm going bowling then
Adrien: Can I come?
Marinette: srry it's all booked in
Adrien Oh.... that's alright, see you at school❤️

3 hours later Zoe was outside the bakery in a limo driven by Armand. Marinette sat down next to Zoe. "Hey, how are you?" Marinette asked. Zoe just gaped at her. Her outfit was so amazing. She had a black skort with a blue band on as a belt, a blue vest and a black jacket. Zoe was in her normal attire.

Marinette chuckled. "I might be underdressed."
Zoe giggled loudly, then Marinette started and soon they were both in hysterics. After 3 minutes of laughter, they sat down in silence.

Their hands suddenly touched. They both blushed violently. Marinette was so confused. Why was she being like this?
Zoe was just a friend to her. A really, really good friend.

Soon after they arrived at the bowling arena. Marinette collected some bowling shoes (zoe already had them) and they started.

Zoe was first. And she was amazing. She tossed the ball perfectly and it hit the middle pin. All of the pins came tumbling down. She walked back to Marinette.

"Woah," Marinette whispered. Zoe chuckled. "It's not my first time," she remarked.

Nervously, Marinette picked up a ball.
"OK so try to toss it carefully in the middle of the lane and remember underarm-" Zoe warned her.

But not hearing 'underarm', Marinette tossed it over her head, which resulted in a huge crash and many stares.

"Oops."
Zoe laughed so hard she was about to fall to the floor. When Marinette got the hang of it, everything was fine! Until Marinettes 4th turn. She had the ball in her hands, but then a small child ran past her. In shock, she dropped the ball, and it landed on her foot.

They arrived at the hospital an hour later. Marinette was still in immense pain but Zoe was right there. Marinettes parents weren't there, they had to stay to help at the bakery, since they had a big delivery the next day.

Marinette had been feeling better, Zoe was holding her hand the whole time.
They were chatting, and although Zoe planned this moment for the Gala, she decided to do it now.

"Hey Mari...I have something to tell you," she started.
"Mm?" She said, smiling up at Zoe. That adorable smile of hers.
"Well.. um..uhh-"
"Zoe. Tell me."
"I HAVE A HUGE CRUSH ON YOU AND I DONT KNOW IF YOU LIKE ME BACK I JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW!"
Marinettes brain wasn't computing well. Maybe it was her broken toe.

She leaned in and kissed Zoe. It took her by surprise, but in a few seconds she kissed Marinette back. It was amazing. This is what was missing from Marinettes kiss with Adrien! The sweet smell of Zoes lemon chapstick, her soft lips.

They eventually broke away, Zoe shocked and excited at the same time. Marinette in absolute awe.

"I need to break up with Adrien," Marinette reminded herself.

"Yep," Zoe answered "Definitely."
