Chapter 5

It was Monday morning and Zoe and Marinette were walking into school.

As they approached the last stair, Zoe said bye to Marinette and headed to her classroom.

Marinette opened the door to find a room of teenagers smiling widely at her. Expect Chloe, Sabrina and Lie-la.

Rose ran over to Marinette. "Oh my gosh! I can't believe you and zoe are dating! I'm so happy for you," she exclaimed as Marinette smiled awkwardly.

After a few minutes, the class door creaked open and a gloomy blonde boy walked in.

Everyone stopped talking. They all stared.
Chloe started to talk. "Adrikins! You will not believe this! Marinette is-"
Alix prodded her finger into chloes back.
"Say something, and I will grab my rollerskates and pound your enormous head with them," she whispered.

Chloe shut up and grumbled. Marinette mouthed a 'thank you'. Alix smiled and gave her a thumbs up.

The day past by quickly, and at the end of the day, Marinette met Zoe at the front doors. They kissed and walked home.

Adriens jaw dropped when he saw them kiss. Zoe? He did not think Marinette would ever date a girl. This made him cry again. He wiped his tears and got inside the limo.

When he arrived home, Gorrila whispered something to Nathatlie. She smiled evily and started to go to Gabriel.

Gabriel jumped as she creaked open the
door.

"Adrien needs to be akumatised, Gabriel," she said with no exclamation.

Turning around, Gabriel looked very angry.

"I am not going to akumatise my son for her. I'm not that cruel."

"You terrorize 2 teenagers for their
jewellery," she muttered.

Gabriel now looked like he was going to smoke at the ears, and start bouncing around the room.

"I AM NOT GOING TO-"

"GABRIEL! AKUMATISE HIM."

That did it. Growling, Gabriel got up and headed to his lair. "On my day off," he mumbled angrily.

The akuma and amok creeped through his door. Both Adrien and Plagg were too busy to notice it this time.

The 2 flew slowly into Adriens ring, and his eyes widened as he heard a voice echo in his mind.

"Vindicater, I am shadow moth. This girl has stolen your precious girlfriend from you, you deserve your revenge."

No, this could not be happening. He knew Ladybug couldn't fight without him, she'd need to give away so many miraculouses. But, oh he really wanted his revenge on Zoe. Zoe, the person that took Marinette away from him.

He cried and fought, but there was nothing he could do.

"Your sentimonster, Umbrage, will help you with your task. All I want in return are Ladybug and Chat Noirs Miraculous."

Adrien sighed deeply. "I'm sorry Ladybug..." he whispered as purple bubbles took over him.

(20 minutes earlier)

Zoe and Marinette had arrived at the bakery.

"Hey honey," Tom said as Marinette walked in, Zoe behind her.

"Hey dad! Can me and Zoe have some profiteroles to take to my room.

Tom nodded as he passed a dozen box to the girls, while taking a customers order.

Zoes eyes lit as they ran up the stairs, hand in hand.

They went up to the balcony as they both devoured the pastries.

"Zoe...I have something to tell you," Marinette started.
"Yeah?" Zoe said as she wiped chocolate from her mouth.
"I need to tell you something," she said as her hand touched an earring.
Zoe frowned. "It's not bad right?"
"No!" Marinette said quickly. "Tikki, come out."

Zoe slowly put the pieces together. The red creature was the same size as Pollen, she could fly, talk, she had colours and patterns like a Ladybug...

"You're Ladybug!?

"Nice one," Marinette said as she smiled.
Zoe pulled her in for a tight hug and whispered, "Thank you for telling me."

Their hug lasted around a minute, until their phones blasted out a familiar sound.

"AKUMA ALERT, AKUMA ALERT. PLEASE SEEK SHEL-"

"Thats your cue, my little bug," Zoe smirked before clasping her hands to her mouth. "Urgh, I did not just say that!"
Marinette laughed heartily then kissed Zoe on the cheek. "I'll see you later," she said smiling. "You can talk to the kwamis while I'm gone!"

Zoe waved as she watched her amazing girlfriend transform and leap out of her room.

She sighed as she looked around for things to do. "Hello? Kwamis?" she asked, getting very shocked when several flying creatures flying towards her.

Adrien felt power rising inside of him. He grinned as he lept out his window.
He was a a strange figure, sort of like a shadow, with deep green eyes.
