Jennifer's POV

I was over the moon. Meeting HongJoong in person was an unforgettable experience, and it left me in awe. His presence radiated perfection, and it was almost overwhelming. The way he carried himself was both beautiful and kind, and I could tell from the way he interacted with Harper that he genuinely adored her. It felt surreal as if this connection we had was too good to be true.

As soon as the door closed behind him, I couldn't help but collapse onto the floor, overwhelmed by a rush of emotions. It was a mixture of happiness, excitement, and disbelief. Harper, my observant little girl, immediately noticed my change in demeanor and approached me with concern.

"Mommy, are you okay?" she asked, her innocent eyes filled with worry.

I mustered a smile, trying to hide the overwhelming joy that was bubbling within me. "Yes, sweetheart. I'm just very happy," I replied, my voice filled with elation.

Harper's curiosity got the best of her as she connected the dots. "Because of Joonie?" she inquired, her face lighting up with excitement.

A giggle escaped my lips as I looked at her with adoration. "Yes, my love. Joonie has brought so much joy into Mommy's life," I admitted, unable to contain my happiness any longer.

"But you just meet him," she giggled sitting down beside me.

I nodded, understanding why it might have been confusing for Harper. "Yes, sometimes connections can happen very quickly," I explained, trying to simplify the concept of love at first sight.

Observing her delight in sharing my happiness, I felt a warmth emanating from our bond as mother and daughter. We sat there, lost in the moment and allowing the emotions to surround us. Just then, my phone pinged – a message from HongJoong.

Eagerly opening the text, I read his message: "Thank you for a wonderful day! I hope we can see each other soon." The words seemed to leap off the screen and right into my heart, filling me with anticipation and happiness like never before.

Harper peeked over my shoulder and giggled. "Is that Joonie? What did he say?" she asked while bouncing with excitement.

Reading the message to her, I could sense her own joy growing in response. We exchanged knowing smiles that spoke volumes of our shared experience today.

"With Joonie's presence in our lives, Mommy has this feeling that things are going to change," I confided to her. She looked at me thoughtfully before nodding in agreement.

That evening, as I tucked Harper into bed with a warm embrace and whispered goodnight, I couldn't help but entertain fantasies of what the future held. Dreams filled my mind with visions of HongJoong becoming an integral part of our family – celebrating milestones with Harper by her side or just simply spending a quiet evening at home together.

~*~*~

Waking up the next morning, I gently woke up Harper and helped them get ready for the day by giving them a warm bath and dressing them. After that, we made our way downstairs to enjoy a delicious breakfast together.
