Jennifer's POV
It had been the most perfect day. I still couldn't believe he was mine.... forever. I was the luckiest person on the planet. From a fan to his fiance... I didn't know how I got so lucky, but at least now our questions abotu me and harper staying in korea were answered... He was going to be my husband... After getting harper to bed and her necklace in the cut jewelry box Joong had purchased for her, he took my hand and led me to our room.
As soon as we entered the room, I knew something was different. The lights were dimmed, and rose petals were scattered all over the bed. I turned to face Joong, and he was already staring at me with a look of pure adoration. Without a word, he walked toward me, and I could feel the heat radiating off his body as he got closer. He cupped my face in his hands, and then his lips were on mine, soft and sweet, but with a hunger that made me dizzy. I wrapped my arms around his neck, and he lifted me effortlessly onto the bed. His kiss deepened, and I moaned softly as his hands roamed over my body, igniting a fire that burned hotter with each passing second. As we kissed, I thought about how far we'd come. From the moment I saw him on stage, to the tears I shed when he proposed, to the way he was touching me now, I knew that this was just the beginning of our forever. Our love had blossomed despite the distance and the obstacles we faced. Now, we were finally together, and nothing could stop us.Joong's hands trailed down my body, stopping at the hem of my dress. He pulled away from the kiss just enough to look into my eyes, silently asking for permission. I nodded, and he lifted the dress over my head, tossing it aside. He took a moment to admire my body, making me blush under his gaze."God, you're so beautiful," he whispered before trailing kisses down my neck and chest. I arched my back, giving him better access, my hands running through his hair as pleasure coursed through me.We spent the rest of the night lost in each other, our bodies entwined in a passion that left us both breathless. As we lay in each other's arms, I knew that this was where I belonged, with the man who had captured my heart and soul .The next morning, I woke up to Joong's arms wrapped around me, his body warm against mine. I snuggled closer to him, feeling content and loved. He stirred awake and smiled at me, his eyes filled with affection and adoration. "Good morning, my love," he whispered, his voice rough with sleep."Good morning," I replied, reaching up to kiss him. "Last night was amazing. I love you so much.""I love you too," he said, his smile widening. "I'm so happy that you're my wife-to-be."I beamed back at him, feeling grateful for the love that we shared. "Me too. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."We spent the morning lounging in bed, enjoying each other's company and talking about our future plans. We were soon interrupted by Harper running into the room and jumping in between us.
"Good morning!" she gushed in korean. She was so proud of herself. She was learning Joong's language slowly, but was always so proud to use it when she could. Four years old and she made my heart soar more amd more everyday.
Joong scooped Harper up in his arms and cuddled her close, his smile radiant as he greeted her in Korean. "Good morning, little one. You're doing so well with your Korean."Harper beamed back at him, pride evident in her bright eyes. "Thank you! I want to be able to talk to everyone in our family."I felt a warmth spread through my chest at her words. This was our family – Joong, Harper, and me – and we were growing stronger together each day.We decided to spend the day just the three of us, bonding and enjoying each other's company. After a leisurely breakfast, we headed out to explore the local area. Walking hand-in-hand with Joong while Harper skipped ahead, her laughter filling the air, filled me with a sense of belonging that I had never experienced before. When lunchtime rolled around, Joong showed us his favorite local street food vendors. He playfully fed me and Harper bites of delicious dishes I had never tasted before – kimchi pancakes, spicy rice cakes, fried squid – as we laughed and teased each other. As evening approached, we strolled back to our home with tired but happy hearts. The sun was setting in brilliant shades of pink and orange behind us; even the sky seemed to reflect the beauty of our love.Back at home, Joong stepped into the kitchen while Harper guided me to our living room. She excitedly told me all about a drawing she had made earlier that week in school. I hung on every word she said as if it were a treasure greater than gold itself.Meanwhile, Joong was busy preparing a delicious dinner for the three of us. The mix of comforting aromas wafted through the house and into the living room where Harper and I were chatting."Dinner is ready!" Joong called from the kitchen. We gathered around the table as he proudly presented his culinary masterpiece – a traditional Korean dinner with bulgogi, kimchi, japchae, and a plethora of delightful side dishes. It was truly a feast fit for a king – or rather, our little family.Throughout dinner, Joong told us stories about his childhood and his experiences growing up in Korea.
"I don't like this..." harper said pointing at the kimchi and making a face.
Joong laughed affectionately and ruffled Harper's hair. "It's okay. Kimchi can be a bit spicy and not everyone likes it at first," he reassured her. "You don't have to eat it if you don't want to."Harper nodded, seemingly relieved, and eagerly went back to eating the rest of her dinner. As we ate, I couldn't help but feel overcome with happiness at the sight of our little family enjoying this meal together. Joong, ever the perfect partner, seamlessly switched between English and Korean as he told his stories, ensuring both Harper and I could understand the tales he shared. After dinner, Joong took Harper upstairs to give her a bath while I cleaned up the kitchen. Harper's giggles echoed down the stairs as Joong made bath time into a fun game. I smiled to myself as I put away the dishes – everything felt so right.Later that evening, we settled down in the living room for some quality family time together. Joong had found a Korean children's movie with English subtitles for us to watch – teamwork wrapped in love - making sure none of us felt left out.Harper snuggled into her favorite bean bag chair with her stuffed bunny while Joong and I cuddled on the couch under a warm blanket. The soft glow from the television illuminated our faces as we enjoyed our movie night.Near the end of the movie, Harper's eyes began to droop as she fought off sleepiness. Joong picked her up gently and carried her up to bed, kissing her forehead as he tucked her in."Good night, my sweet girl," he whispered tenderly before turning off Harper's nightlight and exiting her room.Back in our bedroom, Joong pulled me into his arms and kissed my temple. "I love spending time with you two," he said softly. "I couldn't ask for a better family."I sighed contentedly, resting my head against his chest. "I love you," I murmured."I love you too," he replied before leaning down to capture my lips in a sweet, gentle kiss.We fell asleep wrapped in each other's arms, our hearts full of love and happiness.
