We ate breakfast which consisted of donated items from the market, which was when I realized I hadn't eaten since... We went to the ship and got back to base in no time. Vi would once every few moments look at me, not questioning my swollen, tired eyes. I looked at my hands, realizing the scars they now have. I felt so useless. I didn't know how I made it. Why did I survive? Lycan had to die, so many others have died before me yet, I survived. I watched as the ship ejected into hyperspace. The blue lights and stars glimmered and lit up the once-dimmed ship. I watched as we finally got out of Lightspeed and were back in D'Qar.

"State your purpose," a voice said.

"Returning May Solace, home. Security code VI-11588"

"Holy S- yes come through" they replied.

"You are going home May," she said with a smile.

We landed and there were crowds surrounding the ship, Vi helped me limp towards the entrance of the small transport. I started hyperventilating seeing my friends, and my family. Medics were ready on standby to take me straight to the medical wing. My foot was recast, this time in a paste-like texture, hardening to keep my foot in place. I suffered from a concussion and my scars somewhat healed from the nurse back on the First Order ship and Vi. They gave me some sort of goggles to help my eyes during the healing process.

"May?" the nurse said. "The general would like to speak with you." General Organa.

I fixed what little things I had. "Yes of course, please let her in," I replied.

"Captain Solace?" General Organa said in her sweet-like tone. "I am so glad you are alive," she said.

"I don't know how, General, I- I should have-" she cut me off.

She put her hand to my jaw, I flinched but her hand was comforting. "The force works in many ways, Solace. Now, I know you just have gotten back but what happened?" she asked with worried eyes.

I told her about the failed missions and First Order plans, no more, no less. "I must discuss with the others how we are to help the Batuu unit," she said. "Heal up, alright?" she smiled.

"Thank you, General," I said.
