chapter 6

my right hand holding y/n firmly, and the other, holding swords to fight the angry rabbits. they have dark red eyes, white fur and sharp claws. one of the rabbits ran over towards me and tried to attack me. I slaughtered it with my sword. they are a piece of cake.

i couldn't fight more, because it would hurt y/n. all i could do was defend myself and y/n with my one and only sword. i did my best to protect y/n and did succeed. however, I was bleeding very badly. scratches all over my body.

here comes the hard part, I'll have to climb this steep slope while carrying her on my back. I secured her light body around mine by tying a piece of cloth on my waist. i proceeded to climb the slope. it was too cold, and my hands and legs were shivering. I could not back off, i promised everyone, to take care of her no matter what happened to me. I certainly will do anything to protect her, even if it means to harm me in any way.

my hands and legs were giving up, but my mind couldn't. my hands were felt very cold and they were bleeding due to excessive cooling. my legs shaking from climbing the steep slopes.

only a little more, and i reach the top. i reached out my hand toward the person standing on top. she pulled me up with all her strength, along with her reindeer. I was positive that i would faint the next second.

"please, take care of her, she is my friend"

y/n pov

I woke up in a strange looking bedroom. zoro beside me, sleeping on the chair and his hands holding my fingers. i felt a sharp pain in my head. I thought about rest of the crew.

"how do we get out of here?"

"you need to rest a day or two more. you were too sick" "what do you mean, I need to get back to my crew!"

FUCK

"It is speaking!!!" i screamed at the speaking reindeer. he got scared and hid behind the door.

"what is all this commotion going on?" a strange old looking lady said. "doctorine, she woke up and now says to go out to meet her crew" the small talking reindeer said. "I am the doctor here, and i decide wether you go or not,  this guy, over there, sleeping beside you, was bleeding like anything, he almost sacrificed his life to get you better"

zoro? zoro did?

"don't be confused lady, he is giving it all for you, and that certainly means that he loves you with all he has, you need to value it and respect the decision he took" "I am sorry ma'am" i apologized sincerely.

"I'll get you your medicines" the small reindeer said. "hey, are you a doctor too?" I asked it. "yeah, I am, my name is Tony Tony chopper and I originally am a reindeer however, I ate the human human fruit, that is the reason I can speak."

"oh! my crew would absolutely love you!" I told chopper.

"oi, you baka, that does not mean that I would flutter at your compliments for me" he said dancing and blushing. so he is the type who can't hide his feelings huh. just then,

I felt a tough grip on my fingers. I looked over to my hand to take a look at zoro. "y/n" he said in a deep morning voice. "are you okay now?" he asked continuing.

"zoro, I am okay, but was it really necessary to take such a risk for me, why did you do this zoro?" i bombarded him with questions as he woke up. "i will do anything for you, y/n" he said while smiling at me. "but, what if you would've-" i said with tears in my eyes.

"y/n, I would never leave you alone I promise."
