zoro pov

"nami! please take a look at y/n. she is down with a bad fever" nami came running inside the room. she checked the temperature. "she is having 105°F fever" she replied after checking. "is that bad?" I asked. "yeah, it is very dangerous, we should get her to a doctor as soon as possible, 2 more days of waiting and there's no telling what will happen to her" fuck "I'll tell luffy to get a doctor for the ship"

I went running towards the dock, and saw luffy sitting on the merry head.
"oi luffy!" "yeah! zoro!!" "bad news, y/n is down with a bad fever, she needs a doctor, as soon as possible, 2 days more, and there's no further telling"
"let's get straw hats a doctor" luffy said with a serious face, concerned for our crewmate.

"I'll stay with y/n for the night" nami said. "yeah, please do" i said replying to her. "I hope she gets well soon, she is the charm of our group, always keeps the straw hats happy" usopp said and sanji agreed.

winds were blowing harshly, a winter Island was near. It was snowing continuously. I got into y/n's room, and covered her with a blanket and my jacket. she catches cold very easily. we had almost reached the island when.

"you are not permitted to enter here!" the villagers gathered on the shore. they were armed. I took out my swords because they threatened to fire at us. "please, our crewmate is really sick, she needs help, please, please let us get to the doctor. I promise we will cause no harm." luffy said bowing down in front of the villagers.

the whole crew along with me bent down in front of the villagers.

"I'll let you get through, but I shall stay with you all the time, so as to assure that you cause no harm to this village and people of this village."
a man said between the crowds.

"certainly, you may!" nami said. I picked up y/n on my back, giving a piggyback ride. the crew went to the main village. "nice to meet you all, I am Dalton. the elected leader of this island."

"nice to meet you too, I am nami"
"I am usopp"
"I am luffy, the man who is going to become the king of pirates"
"I am sanji"
"I am zoro, and the on my back is y/n"

Dalton smiled out our introductions. "well, we have only one doctor in this whole country. she lives over there" he pointed out a steep looking snow hill. "but the problem is, she comes down only once or twice a month"

"is there any way to get there?" I asked. "there were ropeways previously, but they are not here anymore, so the only way to get up there is to climb the steep slopes"

"luffy, you stay here with the crew, I'll take y/n up to the doctor" I told luffy

"zoro, you'll be alright, right?" "yeah I'll be okay"

"but there are violent rabbits on this hill, they do not allow anyone to get up to the hill" Dalton said. "I am a swordsman, I can manage this"

"but, how will you carry y/n with you?" "I'll take her as I am holding her now, a piggyback ride"

"zoro, please take extra jackets, and take care of y/n, be certain to reach up to the doctor as soon as possible, she is really not well" nami said
"rest assured, because I am always going to take care of her" i replied.

"oi, moss head, make sure you don't get lost" sanji said and i glared at him.
