I left my food there and then, and rushed towards my room while tears filled my eyes.

zoro pov

"oi, mosshead! how dare you make y/n san sad?!" sanji screamed at me. I had no answer to this. "what's going on between you two? clear the misunderstanding" usopp exclaimed. "oi, zoro, this ain't right" nami said. chopper was sad seeing y/n crying. "this meat is good sanji!" luffy said in between his eating.

I gave no answer and just finished my food and went over to my room. after a while of boredom, someone knocked on my door.

"zoro, I am coming in" I heard luffy's voice. he sat down near me on my bed. "I came here to talk about y/n, what's going between you and her? why are ignoring her and why is she crying?" I sat up facing him.

"so, basically I got to know something very important about her past" "what is it?"

"do you remember the boy she told about whom she met when she was very young? the time when her parents abandoned her?" "yeah, i do, what about it?"

"it was me"

luffy said nothing and just hugged me. "what there to be ashamed of then? is it not very miraculous that it was you, who was with her in her difficult times? you idiot" "actually, I am a bit embarrassed about it. it was me who was with her in her difficult times, who rescued her, who saved her, however I was also the one, who didn't search for her when she disappeared into thin air on a quiet night. i did not take any initiative to go and find for her, what if she does not like me for that reason?"

"did you talk to her?" luffy asked. "no" luffy smacked on my head. "how can you be such an idiot zoro! you did not ask her did not even give her a slight hint about all this." "sorry, captain" i apologized. "so what should I do now, it's not like I can go and ask her about all this suddenly right?" "we'll ask usopp and nami!"

"alright!" i replied.

"usopp!!!!! nami!!!!!" luffy called out for usopp and nami who were chilling on the deck with sanji and chopper. they came rushing inside the room. "I have orders for you both as your captain" luffy continued, "so basically there had been a beef going on between these two. apparently, zoro was the guy who saved y/n on the forest island when they were very young. but due to circumstances, y/n left zoro's village and zoro was too young to take any action about this. so he started ignoring her because he was too ashamed that he did not even take the initiative to search for her."

"woowww, that-that's really-" usopp said. "how can you be so stupid zoro!" nami said smacking my head. "i have already gotten enough smacks from him" i said pointing luffy.

"I want you both to talk to y/n about this" luffy continued. "you know what? she loves you" nami suddenly said. I was shocked at her statement. "wha-what nonsense" i said. "no she does, she does not tell directly, but she definitely loves you. whenever I see her around you, she blushes a lot, especially after that saving kiss of yours"

"fine, leave it to us, I'll first go to y/n's room and ask her about why she's crying." usopp said. "and then I come into the room, I will badmouth zoro, let's see what she says about that, once she will finally admits that she has a crush on you, we will bring you in and you both can clear your misunderstandings." nami planned. "would not it be easier if i directly go and ask her?" I asked "no, she won't listen to you" nami replied. "trust me and usopp, we will work this out!" they said first bumping.
