A wolf's tail the rise of a guardian

Preface

A velvet blanket covered the sky stars were dotted all over and a large moon stayed in the middle of the sky. All around trees stood there branches reaching up to the sky. The silent wind swept them from side to side. A howl echoed around the silent forest, and out of no where a dark grey wolf, with fur like moonlight appeared his eyes were a dark shade of gold. Behind him was 10 more wolves they all stood in a line, like they were waiting for something. The dark grey wolf spoke in a wise but deep tone."They will show up. They wouldn't back down from such a fight." A dark brown wolf spoke in an ill-tempered growl."It's obvious! That they won't show up! They are COWARDS!!" The dark grey wolf spoke back."Keep your temper in ruko remember you are a guardian you will have to be calm."

Before Ruko could talk back, a twig snapped All of the guardians began to growl, and bare their fangs. Coming our of the trees opposite was a jet black wolf, his eyes were odd colours one was topaz and the other was forest green. Behind him was 10 wolves. The dark grey wolf growled and boomed."Ah so you finally show! Kento!!" Kento snarled in response." The dark grey wolf raised his tail as a signal, and both sides of wolves ran towards each over and Soon the forest was filled with the sounds of growling, snarling wolves. Kento managed to pin down the dark grey wolf."Not so tough now Saul?" Saul growled separating his jaws."You don't scare me Kento!" Kento growled and was about to snap his jaws around Saul's throat when Saul used his strength and managed to throw Kento of him. Kento landed on the ground on his side but within seconds he got back up and growled louder.

Kento and Saul ran at each over again. Saul snapped his jaws o Kento's left ear. Kento cried out a painful yelp. Then scratched Saul on the eye down. Saul snarled in pain. Both wolves snarled at each over, as they raked their claws down each over. Both Saul and Kento were full of scratches as clumps of their fur was on the ground alongside with crimson red blood. Saul pounced at Kento and pinned him down."Kento look around!" Saul boomed. Kento growled but that just only made Saul dig his paw deeper into Kento's throat. Kento looked around to see crimson blood on the ground, wolves were either injured or pouncing at each over. Kento rasped with anger."I will be avenged. Don't you worry Saul!" Kento began to go limp as he took his last breath.

Now the black wolf lay motionless in the moonlight. Saul stood up and limped. He howled for all the guardians to listen."Kento is dead!! Hopefully the forest will now be at peace!" He boomed. All of the wolves that were against the guardians ran off snarling at Saul. The guardians joined Saul in a group howl. Once the howl was over, Saul led the guardians away.

A fly landed by the motionless wolf, it began to crawl next to his paw. Then all of a sudden, one of the paws swooped down and squeezed the fly. And Kento's eyes opened. With an erupting growl.
