A young man is neglected by his family is dropped off at an orphanage then finds a monster not far from the orphanage grounds and the two make a contract now the two are tied in a world saving journey.

A new day had begun, and the three siblings were off to school with their buddies in tow, they met up with Baku and Kogure on the escalator to school.
Kogure: Morning you five.
Siblings and monsters: Morning.
Baku: So, anything interesting happened after your Buddy Fight with Tetsua?
Gao: Well Austin got a package from his master who taught him how to Buddy Fight and gave him four new cards.
Kogure: You were actually taught how to Buddy Fight Austin?
Austin: Yes, I wouldn't be the person I am today if it wasn't for master's wisdom.
The group then made their way to their classrooms.
Teacher: Good morning class today I'm happy to announce that we have a new student joining us today, you can come in now.
The door to the classroom opened and a young man walked into the classroom.

Young man: I'm Kiri Hyoryu it's nice to meet all of you.
Teacher: Thank you Kiri.
The teacher looked to his left to see Kiri was gone, said young man then walked up to Gao.
Kiri: You're the Mighty Sun Fighter.
Gao: Huh
Kiri: Remember me you saved me from those bullies, I've been telling everyone what you did.
Gao: R-Right, so how's it going?
Kiri: I can't believe I'm actually going to be in the same class with the Mighty Sun Fighter.
Noboru: Heh, looks like you got a fan Gao.
Teacher: Okay Kiri we're about to start the lesson now.
Kiri: Right
Gao: My name's Gao Mikado but you can call me Gao.
For the rest of the school day Kiri was trying to get close to Gao and learn more about him much to the annoyance of Drum, the two boys along with Drum, Austin, and Demios then went over to Castle where the manager greeted them.
Manager: Hey Gao I see your back with your buddy, a friend, and... Austin and Demios.
Austin/Demios: Hey how's it going?
Gao: You two know him?
Austin: We did some volunteer work here in the past still do but not as often.
Manager: So, what brings you all here today?
Kiri: I'm interested in starting up Buddy Fighting, but I think I'm too young to Buddy Fight.
Manager: Relax you're not too young to Buddy Fight I've seen even five years old play it.
Gao: Yeah well, I didn't start playing it till six grade.
