A young man is neglected by his family is dropped off at an orphanage then finds a monster not far from the orphanage grounds and the two make a contract now the two are tied in a world saving journey.

Two years have passed since Austin made a contract with Demios after he got his core gadget from Tasuku of the Buddy Police and now he changed greatly for the better he was more confident and braver. When he first started to BuddyFight he mostly took on bullies that were trying to steal rare cards from humans and Faunus soon he was target for some criminals that heard about his new world and rare cards and was challenged to a BuddyFight by them only for them to lose every time he was offered a place on the Buddy Police Force but he turned them down every time, the Buddy Police Force knew about the invasion from Darkness Dragon World thanks to Austin and Demios and are on the lookout for Azi's buddy. Austin was allowed to go to school at Aibo Academy thanks to the caretaker being good friends with the principle a lot of the student body ignored Austin due to him being an orphan even though he was a well know BuddyFighter the only ones that seemed to be friendly with him was Gao and his friends. When Saturday came around Austin and Demios who was in his small form were called to the orphanage main lobby. When Austin and Demios arrived at the main lobby, he met a woman with green hair and a man with black hair.

The women then came forward and kneeled down to Austin's level.
Suzumi: Are you the Austin that we heard so much about?
Austin tilts his head to the side he wasn't sure but the lady kind of remined him of Gao.
Takashi: We came to adopt you, Gao told us about your past family leaving you here, so we came to give you a home.
