You cursed, it was nearly midnight and you guys had only just started to track the path through the mountain Your ears flattened against your head in the cold chill of the mountains, you shivered every few seconds, looks like you should've brought a bigger coat Aizawa walked up next to you "How are you holding up kid?" He held eye contact, studying you, your body language, and movements "You're cold....and nervous.." He spoke with a smirk of sorts "I'm fine.." You retorted, shoving your hands in your pockets, it helped a little but not much But a little bit was better than nothing "You are not fi-" "Are we there yet??!" Kaminari hollered from the back of the group "Shut the hell up dunceface! Before you cause a rockslide." Bakugou snapped harshly "Bakugou don't be rude!" Todoroki's monotone voice rang out You sighed with annoyance, there were arguments every five minutes it seemed "You are not 'fine'." Aizawa spoke "And.." His hand gently pulled at your ear "Your cold." You pushed his hand away "I'll be fine, it's not like I haven't been cold before." You ended the conversation there, picking up your pace and walking ahead But you were stopped suddenly by someone pulling you back "There's a drop dumbass." Bakugou said, releasing your bag with a glare You leaned down to look and sure enough there was a huge drop in the mountain path "I bet it happened because of dunceface's damn yelling." "Hey! Rude much?" Bakugou simply ignored Kaminari's response and leaned against Kirishima as he walked up beside you two "Wow, that's a long way down.." Kirishima mumbled "No shit." Bakugou said with a tone of agreement "Bakugou you should watch your language." "Shut up icyhot!" Todoroki only sighed "There's no way across.." Midoriya looked up at all of you and a blush formed when he realized he was mumbling "Heh, sorry." He said with a nervous smile You groaned while Kirishima gave him a sympathetic smile and Bakugou glared at him "We'll have to climb the mountain." You said in an annoyed tone "I'll lead, I'm not going to save you if one of you slips and falls." Bakugou said before he hooked his hand into a crevice in the rock and started climbing Everyone started to climb behind Bakugou, with a groan of annoyance you shifted, strands of fur lifting off your body as you shook yourself, then being careful and precise you hooked your claws between the rock and started to climb You had to climb over the nearly twenty or fifty foot drop, you weren't good with math so you couldn't tell, you could care less in the moment though You groaned, you had to climb upside down to get across the drop, you had to be extremely careful, you hooked your claws in the rock, some tiny pebbles hitting your face, gravity pulled at your bodies as you all climbed, Bakugou went quickly and swung down to the other side of the drop with heavy exhale and a stretch Aizawa landed beside him next, Midoriya yelped as his foot slipped "Fuck! Midoriya!" You screamed "Izuku!" Uraraka jumped down after him, you yelled after her but she was already gone, she hit Midoriya on the back and he managed to save her with his black whip, Midoriya was hovering in the air while Uraraka was holding on to Midoriya's black whip for dear life, Aizawa threw out his capture weapon and pulled them over to the other side safely, they would get a good yelling at from you You growled angrily but pushed on and continued climbing nonetheless, until your claws missed a crevice. "Y/N!!!!" You cursed and yelped as you slipped, your body spun and flipped in the air, feline instincts maneuvered your body to prepare to land on your paws, but there was no ground for you only sharp edged rocks You closed your eyes to face your fate until you were snatched up just in the nick of time by someone You landed your side with thud, breathing heavily, two more people jump down beside you Kaminari and Kirishima rush over as they land beside you, frantic questions and of 'Are you okay?' And 'Are you hurt??' Was all you heard "You're lucky, those rocks would've killed you." An unfamiliar voice spoke, they held out a hand to help you up "My name is Cobra, I'm the one who saved your ass, you're welcome." He said in a slightly gruff voice Brushing yourself off, you took this time to to study his appearance He was dark skinned with with thick brown hair and a clump of white He had a scar on hit left eye and a few bandages on his right cheek A sliver spear haltered on his back
"Thank you?" You spoke with uncertainty "Cobra!" Arrow wrapped Cobra on a tight hug, Cobra let out a groan of annoyance and pushed him away "You all are terrible climbers...except for maybe you." Cobra pointed to Bakugou Bakugou puffed his chest out with a smirk "But you're still all terrible." "That's mean Cobra." "Don't care." Arrow sighed in disbelief "So wait..who are you? Some kind of goat mountain climber?" Bakugou smacked Kaminari lightly on his head "Ow!" Tuning out the bickering of your two colleagues you moved your attention back to Cobra and Arrow "I'll help you get over the mountain. But only because I don't need you disturbing the animals that live here..or causing a landslide." Cobra spoke in a tone of annoyance, crossing his arms as he did "Oh hell yeah! You've got to show them the great views too Cobra!" Arrow said excitedly as you all started to follow Cobra "No." He replied His eyes landed on you with a scowl before he continued walking ————— 1061 words —————
