"Come on, hurry up!" "Yeah, yeah, I am coming. Calm down." Natasha grumbles as she comes slowly to the living room of the compound, still rubbing her eyes to get rid of the remnants of sleep. She had been sleeping just a few minutes before Clint had barged into her room, insisting that she gets up so they can leave for the farm that houses the archer's family, hidden away from the world. As the Russian sees the archer leaning on a wall of the room, excited about something, Natasha stops. "Why are you excited? What am I not aware of?" Natasha asks and Clint dismisses her question with a wave of his hand. "It's nothing bad, I think you will like it actually." The vague answer isn't what Natasha wanted, so now, more awake than before, she strides towards her friend. "Clint Barton, you better tell me what you have planned. I am not leaving to do something stupid on my rare days of rest, when I could be here, warm and reading the books I have desired to read for months now." But the man just grins. "We will head to the farm-" "Yeah, I got that much. What else?" "And there we will meet Wanda and Noku-" Natasha grips Clint's shoulders and begins to shake the man. "They are back? Why didn't you say so? Are they alright? How did their mission go?" Natasha rambles and Clint has to physically stop Natasha. He places his hands on Natasha's arms and pulls them away from him. "Well it was meant to be a surprise but because you are so god damn stubborn I wouldn't have gotten you to the yet without telling now. You can ask them your questions after we get there as they were sleeping when I left." Clint doesn't manage to finish his sentence before the Russian is already gone down the hall, yelling something about meeting him at the hangar in 5 minutes. Natasha runs to her room and stuffs a few necessities in a bag. She doesn't know how long she will be at Barton's farm, but what she does know is that it will be cold and snowy there this time of the year. Suddenly she stops and grabs her phone. "Come on, answer me..." Natasha mutters to herself as she paces around the room and as soon as she hears the person on the other side answering she stops. "Fury, I'll take the rest of the year off of work. No missions or paperwork. Thank you, bye." As Natasha pulls the phone away from her ear, she can hear the man cursing loudly. Not caring, Natasha continues to pack. Within minutes she is jogging towards the hangar with a newfound excitement to be spending Christmas with some of the people she cares about the most. "You took 8 minutes, Nat. You are slipping." Clint says as Natasha appears in the hangar. "I had to make a phone call. How long will we be at the farm?" Clint shrugs. "Depends on you. I doubt that Fury lets you have a long vacation-" "I have the rest of the year free." The Russian bluets out and Clint raises an eyebrow. "Alright, well, let's get going then. The kids are excited to see Aunt Nat again."

The flight is mostly silent, Clint focusing on flying while Natasha dozes off to catch some lost sleep. At 4:35 the quinjet lands on the large clearing of a farm, surrounded by vast forests. The landing wakes Natasha up and she groggily makes her way to the bag she had packed. She picks it up and follows her friend to the decent sized farmhouse. The lights are on, indicating that someone is still awake. Laura no doubt. The woman always worries about the wellbeing of her husband but knowing that Clint hasn't been on a mission for a while this is strange to Natasha. Getting suspicious, Natasha glances around. Nothing is out of place nor disturbed. She tries to shake the feeling off but the suspicion lingers. Something is not quite right here. Clint is the first one to enter the house, calling a 'Honey, I am home.' to the quiet building. Natasha follows close behind and closes the door behind her. "I am in the kitchen." Laura answers and Natasha can smell the aroma of coffee and tea in the air. 'Strange.' She thinks to herself as neither Clint or Laura drinks tea and the man said that Wanda is sleeping. Arriving at the kitchen Natasha is met with the Sokovian sipping on a mug of steaming hot tea. She opens her mouth to talk but Wanda's eyes drift from her to look behind her. Natasha doesn't have time to look behind when a large body collides with her, causing them to tumble to the ground. A soft rumble leaves her assailant and Natasha is quick to push the head of Noku away from her. "What was that for?" She questions as the dragoness lets her go. 'I missed you, weakling.' Noku says and Natasha scoffs. "I am not weak, you overgrown lizard. You are just much larger than I am." A smile breaks to the Russians face. "But I missed you too, Squish. Both of you." Natasha says to Noku and Wanda. The Sokovian laughs. "Missed you too, Nat." She then continues, "Little One? Didn't you have a surprise for Nat?" The dragoness perks up and trots out of the room without saying anything, giving Natasha a moment to talk with Wanda.
