Your Future (A Non-TF Chapter)

The two Falk sisters have already run away from the anthropomorphic ruby. As the two have already saw what happened to everyone else, sans Edward and Amber, on this cursed island, they were pretty sure that Yelena is next. Although Pamela is concerned for what may become of Yelena, she couldn't help but wonder: why did Edward spare ME? There was no way that whoever possessed Edward was merciful enough to spare Pamela, and if he invited her to the island, why hasn't she transformed into an object yet?

The two were tired from traveling on foot, with Ruby feasting on some junk food back at the car. There was no point in using the car since Pamela was planning to write down an S.O.S. signal for any passing helicopters to rescue them. But there is a problem, the two must walk through another cave that is said to lead to a beach where they could write the S.O.S. on the sand, and Yelena and Pamela have left most of their shit at the car. The logical thing was that they kept their phones with them at all times, and small bags of stuff. But how did they grab their shit?

Earlier...
"Oh, God, is he... transforming? Is he alright?" Yelena asked.
"No! He's not alright! Pamela replied, as she rushed over to the car, all while Rufus was kneeling down onto the ground. Opening the doors, she grabbed her belongings which she could carry, and grabbed what Yelena could carry, "It is too late for him, we got to prepare to leave just in case he fully transforms into one of those things!" 
"But... It's never too late to save him. We can still-"
"No! I cannot lose you too, what if HE finds out that you're interfering with HIS affairs? Things won't end well for you!"
"Pamela, we're already interfering with Edward's affairs. So, what's the point in NOT helping a friend out!?" Yelena asked.
"You want to become an object?!" Pamela asked.
"No, sis. I don't want to become an object."
"Okay then! Hurry up and let's skedaddle!" Pamela replied, as she began prompting Yelena to leave behind Rufus (RUDE), who was at the stage where he was shrinking in size and changing in shape, basically mid-TF. 

Back to the present...

"Pamela, is this it? Are we going to go home once we reach the other side?" Yelena asked.
"Yes, sis, all of this is going to be over, and you won't have to worry about turning into an object. Also, this is going to foil that stupid bitch Edward's plan to transform us all." Pamela replied, as the two began venturing into the cave. They kept venturing through this dark, damp cave until they found a torch, conveniently lit. Pamela grabbed it, knowing that she needs light to see where she is going. Surprisingly, Pamela didn't feel strange from touching the torch, nor she was transforming into something she's not.

"How come I haven't transformed yet?" Pamela asked.
"Maybe Edward, the normal Edward, likes you?" Yelena asked.
"Shut! I know that he's going to transform you into a fricking object to target me, and I am not prepared to see what'd become of me!"
"It's going to be fine, Pamela. As long as we get to leave this damned island, neither of us will transform, and Edward will lose! How long have we known each other?"
"Since birth?"
"Yes, Pamela, since birth! I am concerned about you keeping me for your pathetic show, the way you force things upon me. But you're still my sister at the end of the day. I couldn't imagine a day with my sister being transformed into an object. Your future may not be the same path as my future, and who knows, the book that I grabbed back when Boris was transformed could mean something to us. It could reveal the answers to what may have happened to the first 22 people, and how things were for them before the disappearances." Yelena replied.
"Sis, you'd ought to read the book again, we can show the truth of what really happened in our silly adventure, and what really happened in the disappearances of August 2017!" 
"Brilliant idea, Pamela, that I shall do!" Yelena then proceeded to read the book, knowing that there is something valuable inside, some information is priceless, but still worth telling a tale to warn everyone about the objects taking over Deerville, and, by extension, the neighboring cities.
