2. Cuts (Y/n x Gallaghers)

Info: Y/n Gallagher, one year younger than Ian, struggles with her life as others, however, she is not as strong as the rest of her family. One day the family finds out about the secrets she has been hiding for so long.

Y/n x Gallaghers

3rd Person POV

Everyone has their difficulties, each one in this messed up family. And each one of them has their ways to cope with hardships.

Some of them smoke, drink, use drugs, become rude and shut others down, and maybe hurt themselves.

Well, Y/n is no different. She could not handle the empty feeling of being useless. She tries to help out, but all tell her to focus on her studies so she can get to a good university. Fiona thinks that she has a great chance of getting out of Southside.

However, Y/n feels like she is not doing enough. What could have led to it? Maybe when Lip was upset and yelled at her that she can't do anything right? Or when Ian told her to get the fuck out when she tried to help with his and Mickey's situation? Or maybe Fiona not wanting her to mess around in the kitchen, when the only thing Y/n wanted to do was to help?

Or that everyone tells her to shut up because she talks too much because she tells about everything that had happened to her that day?

Well, she does not do that now.

Everyone has their part in this. But these little things couldn't have caused something. Or could they?

School.

Another reason for Y/n's depression. Everything comes from the school: a regular high school which makes kids hate themselves and become suicidal.

What if the cause of Y/n's pain is the popular girls telling her that she will end up like her alcoholic dad or her junkie mom?

Well, the kids here are so 'kind' that they drive people to the point that they want to kill and hurt themselves.

Hope, happiness, and a smile were all gone. When the heart gets too heavy with the pain it becomes silent, completely silent...

As hard as she tried she could not stop this feeling. Maybe that's why she was holding a blade to her wrist and looking at the red substance slowly coming out of her skin.

Her eyes filled with pain and warm tears.

Cuts.

That's what helped her to survive, to feel the pain at an exact place. When you are feeling emotional pain where does it hurt exactly? You do not know. But when you cut your wrists, where does it hurt? Your wrists, that's where it hurts. At least here you know something for sure, for sure where it hurts...

"Can you watch Liam?" asked Fiona getting ready to go to work.

"Sure," answered Y/n and stared at the TV.

"Ian and Lip will come home pretty soon," told Fiona and went out closing the door behind her.

No one's home except Liam and Y/n. They watched TV all along until Lip and Ian came home.

"I was expecting you'd show up sooner," said Y/n still looking at the TV.
