I felt a terrible eye pain, as if someone had let the sun shine directly on my face. I opened my eyes, and there was Kally by the window, wearing a red shirt and jeans. "Mom, you can't wake me up like this," I muttered and rubbed my eyes. "It's one in the afternoon, miss, get changed," she ordered. I looked at my clothes. Darn, I fell asleep in the black dress. Kally left the room, and I finally woke up properly. My head was in a mess - Noah is in town, and Kevin might love me, or not, maybe I just made it up in my head. I got up and shuffled to the closet. All my clothes were neatly folded, Kally or Sheila must have done it. I took out a black sports bra, black shorts, and a green hoodie. My stomach hurt, I didn't know if it was because of the dress or because of what happened. I went towards the bathroom. There was a smell of donuts and cheese in the hallway. I locked the door and threw my clothes over the bathtub. Slowly, I took off the dress, and as I looked at myself in the mirror, I noticed a scar on the right side of my torso. What the hell is this? I tried to think how it could have happened. I took off the bra as well. I put on the sports bra and the black shorts. I put on the hoodie and headed to the kitchen.

"There's our sleepyhead," said Sheila, who was doing yoga in the living room. I smiled at her, "Hi." I went to the kitchen, where Kally was having a snack and reading a book. "What are you reading?" I asked as I sat down, and I put two donuts on the plate, which was empty and prepared for me. Kally sighed and took a deep breath, "Just something about World War II," she replied. I wasn't paying attention; I was busy looking at those donuts I poured some tea from the kettle into my cup. "Today, we're going to town with Sheila," she announced. I didn't pay attention to her and took a bite of the donut. Sheila came into the kitchen, "Feel free to invite someone," she joined us. I looked at her and brightened up, "Can I, really?" Kally joined the conversation, "No." "Kally, it's summer, and this big house is always empty," she snapped at Sheila and then added towards me, "Of course, you can."

I sat on the bed and unlocked my phone. Kally and Sheila had just left, and I had the whole villa to myself. Darn, I don't have Kevin's or Noah's contact. Something occurred to me. I went to the window in my room and opened it. "Kevin," I called out softly. After a while, the window in the opposite house opened, and Kevin's head appeared. He smiled, that sweet smile of his. "Selena, hi," I let out a little squeal. "I have the whole villa to myself today, invite someone. We start in an hour," I said and closed the window. Kevin pulled his head back and closed the window too.

I heard the doorbell. I rushed downstairs to the main door. Even before I opened it, I heard a soft whisper. I opened the door, and what I saw, I didn't want to believe. There were a bunch of people outside, and right in front of them, opposite me, stood Kevin with his typical smile. I smiled, "Come on in," I moved aside for the others to pass. I sat on the sofa, people were everywhere. In the living room, in the kitchen, by the pool, just everywhere. I felt a slight indentation on the couch next to me. It was Kevin. I felt the scent of oranges from him. He was wearing a loose white t-shirt, black pants, and sunglasses. I never noticed details before, but with him, it was different. When I looked at his face, I could see every detail. A little scar above his eyebrow, a tiny wrinkle on his forehead, and his beautiful lips. "This is perfect, it's so much fun," I didn't listen to him; I was preoccupied with his beautiful face. I stood up, "Come on," I extended my hand, which he accepted after a moment. We went to my room.

I closed the door, which I then locked. Kevin stood by the bed, and I turned to him and smiled, "Finally, peace and quiet." I approached him, he was so tall that I had to lift my head to see his face again. Everything was so perfect, both of us locked in the room. I stood on my tiptoes, this moment. Everything around us seemed to freeze in time when our lips met. Kevin gently held me by the hips, the warmth that was building between us was heavenly. His lips were pleasantly warm, and his breath smelled and tasted like toothpaste. When I pulled away from him, we both stayed silent for a while.

"Selena..." Kevin wanted to say something. "Sorry, I don't know what's happening to me," I interrupted him. He cautiously approached me, "No, I liked it." I looked into his eyes, those black eyes full of emotions. "Kevin, we've known each other for two days. I don't know why this is happening, but I know we can't do this. I'm sorry," I unlocked the room and left. I heard Kevin say, "Wait," but I didn't want to stop, I couldn't. Kissing practically a stranger? Selena, get a grip, I told myself. I felt large hands stop me, I couldn't see who it was. I looked up. I saw an unknown man. It was Noah. "Oh, hello," I greeted him. I smiled back at him. "Hi," he greeted me back.

We sat down in front of the door. Nobody was there. I sat on the floor, and Noah sat next to me. "So, what happened?" he asked. I wanted to lie to him, but I couldn't, I couldn't lie to him. "I kissed Kevin, and I didn't even mean to." He looked at me, I couldn't return the look. "That sucks," he replied, then added, "Are you okay?" I looked at him. I had to think, "Actually, yes," I thought again. "Everyone makes a wrong move once," I replied.

We talked about everything for a while. "Do you have Instagram?" I asked. He laughed, oh, that smile of his. No! Selena, focus. "Yes," he looked at my phone and added, "Can I?" I agreed, he took my phone and typed it in. When he gave it back to me, I noticed how many followers he had. "Wow, four and a half thousand? You're kind of famous," I teased. He laughed again, "More like just handsome." I smiled back.

After three hours, everyone had left. I was picking up the mess by the pool. "Selena," I heard Kevin's voice, and when I looked up, my intuition was right. Kevin was standing behind the fence. He cleared his throat, "Can I come in?" I sat on a chair next to the pergola and thought about it. I agreed, and he climbed over the fence. As he walked towards me, the stomach pain returned. He sat on the same chair next to the table. "Hey, I know something happened today, but that doesn't mean our new friendship is over, right?" His words made me smile. For the first time, I saw him so serious and sad at the same time. "Of course, we're friends," I smiled back. "Where did you go then, you know, after the fiasco?" "I went with Noah in front of the house." His face changed as if... he was jealous. "Ah," he replied dryly. "Well, I have to clean this up, so bye," I got up and continued. He left with the same expression.
