I press my lips together and take in the sight In front of me.

It's almost identical to the last one I went to months ago.

The lights weren't off though, they were just dim and there were a few l.e.d lights.

You can tell this guy was rich.

Apparently, his parents were out travelling for the next two months so he had this whole fat mansion to himself.

There were so many people. People drinking, people dancing on each other, people laughing, people outside talking.

Just like I expected.

Alessia grabs my hand when she finally spots Noah and Ethan by some guys.

We reach them in a few steps and Noah's eyes widen. "Stella? That you? Am I dreaming?"

"Wow, Noah. Thanks for making me feel better."

Ethan wraps his arms around Alessia and shakes his head. "Ignore him. He's already a little tipsy. It's amazing that you're here. Good to see you out of your comfort zone."

I nod, looking around. Not to take in the sight, but more for me to find a certain someone.

Alessia taps me for my attention. "Wanna drink?"

"Sure."

She wriggles out of Ethan's grip, grabs onto me and leads me to a massive kitchen.

The kitchen was all black with marble flooring. There was a massive open door that led straight to a dining room where quite a few people were drinking.

"Would you like to try alcohol? You don't have to." Alessia tells me, holding tight to a plastic red cup.

"I'll have a little bit."

"I can mix Vodka and Red Bull?"

"Sure."

I watch as she carefully pours and mixes the drinks for me and adds just vodka for herself.

She hands me the red cup and before I take a sip she speaks.

"Please don't let anyone who isn't me give you a drink. It doesn't matter how nice they are."

"I know. I wouldn't anyway." I bring the cup to my lips and take a small sip.

"Nice?"

"Yeah. Not as bad as I thought it'd be." I take another sip but this time, a larger one.

My mind has come off of Miles for a second since I've got in here. And more because Bella said she'll be here with him.

I need a distraction.

Anything to stop thinking about Miles.

Over these two weeks, I've realised that I liked Miles. A lot more than I thought I did. And that's why the mention of him is bugging me.
