005) The Creep

POV: Y/n

Life on the Razor Crest was interesting to say the least. So far on this short trip we have been nearly killed 3 times. OVER 2 DAYS! And this time was no different.

I sat in my seat holding on tightly as the Mandalorian swerved around the blasts of the ship behind us.

The man on the communicator started to speak. "Hand over the child. Mando. I might let you and your little girlfriend live." I'm too busy trying to not fall over to laugh at the stupid comment the man made.

After a few seconds Shiny is able to take out the bounty hunter and we go back to business as usual. Or so I thought.

Apparently during all the fighting the Razor Crest got seriously damaged. Then we completely lost fuel. After using up all of the generators the Mandalorian is able to land the ship safely on the planet called Tatooine.

The Mandalorian hides the kid away as I open the ship door. As soon as it opens he shoots at a little robot.

"Hey!" A woman called out to us. "You damage one of my droids, you'll pay for it."

"It was him," I joke, pointing at the Mandalorian. He sighs at my joke, as usual.

"Just keep them away from my ship." He answers the woman.

The woman starts examining the ship as I watch the cute robots run around. The Mandalorian and woman start talking about repairs. When they are finished I go to walk to the woman.

"I'm Y/n!" I explain happily while sticking out my hand. I don't normally meet people who are not trying to kill us so I took the opportunity to make a friend.

"Peli," The woman replies, taking my hand. The Mandalorian pulls me away and out of the repair garage. I wave to Peli as we leave.

We walk into the sandy streets. I am unsure where we are going. This place is gross and scary, filled with bloody streets and decapitated heads.

I would much rather be back on the ship being shot at.

The Mandalorian leads the way into a saloon and up to the bar. I look around and already find eyes on me. A young man is staring at me, smirking. I turn back to the Mandalorian and the robot talking about finding work.

"I am afraid that does not improve your situation." The robot answers firmly.

"Think again, tin can." A man's voice calls out, interrupting their conversation. I turn to see who it is, and it's none other than the man looking at me from before. I look at him in disgust. I can FEEL the cocky attitude from over here.

He calls us over, I slide into the booth with Shiny close behind. "Names Toro Calican." He says smiling. He sticks out his hand for use to shake. Neither of us shake his hand so it goes back down to his side awkwardly.

He explains a job, showing a woman's face. "Well, good luck with that." The Mandalorian answers Toro after he is finished explaining. He gets out of the booth, then pulls me out by the arm. I laugh a little as the young man looks embarrassed.

"Wait, I thought you needed work?" I turn to the Mandalorian to see his answer.

"I need to live long enough to get rid of this one." He starts, his hand still on my arm. The man looks confused.

"Fennec Shane is an elite mercenary. If you go after her, you won't make it past sunrise." The Mandalorian says annoyed. We start to walk out, but the man continues to talk.

"This is my first job." He admits, "I can't do it alone."

I respond to Toro before the Mandalorian can. "Good luck with that." I start to leave but the Mandalorian pulls me back.

"Meet me at hangar three-five in half an hour. Bring two speeder bikes." The Mandalorian tells the man.

"You sure you don't want 3?" The weird man asks. His eyes are on me and I feel sick. I just want to get back to this ship.

"I'm sure." The Mandalorian says sternly. We walk out of the saloon and back to the ship.

When we get on the ship we both notices the kids gone. I sprint out and up to Peli.

"Where is he!?" The Mandalorian yells.

"You woke it up!" Peli yells back. "Do you have any idea how long it took me to get it to sleep?" I sigh in relief. "You know, you two have a lot to learn about raisin' a young one." My cheeks feel warm and embarrassed. I look away as the two start talking about the ship repairs.

Me, Shiny and Peli (who is holding the kid) walk out of the hangar to find the scary man from the saloon with two speeders.

"Not too shabby, huh?" Toro gloats. "So I guess you can ride with me." He says smiling at me. I stare at him unamused.

"Stop talking to her." The Mandalorian threatens, putting a firm hand on his gun. The man looks away nervously and they ride off.

We go back into the hangar. I get back to the ship and go to sleep in my favorite uncomfortable chair. "Oh how I've missed you!" I say to the chair and pass out.

~Awake~

I am woken up to a figure shaking me. It took me a second to realize what it is. It's Toro, he has a gun to Peli and is holding the kid. My breath quickens. "Come with me or I'll shoot her." He says. I get up immediately and he pushes me down the ladder and out of the ship.

In the lower deck of the ship there is a pair of cuffs. Toro obviously sees this. "Put the cuffs on." He tells me. I do as he says. When I'm done they walk outside.

I'm told to sit in the ship. The others wait in the shadows until it's time.

When the Mandalorian finally arrives he sees me first.

"Looks like I'm calling the shots now. Huh, partner?" Toro comes out with Peli and the kid.

"Cuff him," Toro tells me, throwing a pair of cuffs. I walk over to Shiny muttering to myself.

"Going to be kind of hard to cuff someone when I'm cuffed." I whisper exasperatedly to myself but Shiny hears. When I go to cuff him I see he's got a small weapon in his hands.

"Brining you in won't just make me a member of the Guild, it'll make me legendary." Suddenly bright light fills my eyes. I hear a blaster go off but I am unable to see anything. I drop to the ground so I don't get hit in the crossfire.

My vision slowly comes back. I see Toro, dead on the floor and the kid okay. "Thanks for the warning." I say sarcastically. Shiny comes over and we get each other out of the cuffs.

Shiny, the kid and I get back onto the ship and fly away. "I hate sand planets," Shiny says as we fly away.
