I'm okay. I'm okay. I'm. Okay.

I'm not okay. I'm NOT okay! I'M NOT OKAY!

The Krang is here! Here with me! Here in Wonderland! I'm in Wonderland! I'm Alice in Wonderland! I'm living in a FRICKING fairy tale!

So clearly, I'm not okay. I'm stuck in a different dimension with a killer alien which I know for sure is out for my blood. I've been unconscious for a whole week! The Krang could've been here longer than I have slowly spreading his territory and turning Wonderland into his new homeland.

I couldn't let it happen!

How to finish him off is the billion-dollar question.

"Why is a raven like a writing desk?"

I blinked. I looked over at Sam who was twirling a long needle between his fingers. "What?" I asked.

"Why is a raven like a writing desk?" the blonde Hatter asked again. What kind of question is that? It was so... random? Unexpected? Weird? Oh yeah, it was totally weird. "My father asked me when I started getting curious. The question got me baffled. I pondered and wondered. Wondered and pondered. Pondered and pondered. Wondered and wondered. Then I finally gave up and asked my father."

"What did he say?" I asked, curiously.

"He doesn't know. He told me the riddle to get out of his hat. It was a comfortable hat to sit in."

For some reason, I started to laugh. It wasn't that funny and yet the short story made me smirk a bit. I couldn't believe a short story had an impact. It made me feel better... even for a bit. I clutched the jacket close and inhaled the different smells of tea. The scent made me relax.

Our walk was quiet. For a guide, Sam didn't say much. I'm surprised he didn't ask about my home. I thought he'd be asking all sorts of questions. I guess he's got as much on his mind as I was. We finally got out of the forest and were greeted by a calm river. I had to cover my eyes with the brightness of the sun. How long were we in that forest? How does time work in this world?

"Are you alright?" I was also greeted by Sam's face. He's VERY close. "I could never tell how the Mocked Turtle became pale. I imagined their skin tone would be lighter. Your skin is like a mint color." He touched my cheek. I recalled our unintentional kiss not long ago. "Huh... now your face is a muddy cherry color. Fascinating."

I shoved the blonde's face away. "Alright, Prince Charming, if we're traveling together, we need to set some ground rules."

"Understandable. We are on the ground; ergo there should be rules. We need to update our progress whenever we go to a different area. Will the rules be the same or will they be different?"

I blinked before shaking my head. "Okay. Rules. They won't change no matter where we go."

"How complicated." How was that complicated?

"Whatever. Rule 1: Respect the six-foot rule. No one and I mean no one wants to see someone get close to their personal space. You may never know who will get you!"

"I am always on guard. I can snap their neck faster before they strike." The fact that he said it like it was no big deal baffled me.

"Right..." Sam did kill that plant monster with a top hat machine gun. Donnie would love that! Oh no... I'm getting homesick! Breathe, Leon! Focus on your goal! "Rule dos: questions are allowed BUT ask normal questions."

Sam tilted his head. "Normal? What defines normality?"

I shrugged. "I dunno. You're talking to a mutant turtle."
