Chapter 16

Today was the day.

U.A's entrance exam, a sleek black car made It's way down the road carrying two teens to the High School.

Todoroki Shoto and Shion were in that car wearing their middle school uniform and sports bags wet sat beside them as they would would be taking the examination.

Their parents had offered to recommend them to the school, they were grateful for the offer but they declined it they were inspired by their parents and like their parents they were gonna earn their place and the stakes are high, considering the fact that their mother is a judge among the teachers and she warned them she would nitpick them just like everyone else.

"Don't be nervous, just remember all that we've learned over the years and utilise it in the right way in the right situation." Shoto spoke up, breaking the tense silence as he noticed his twin looking slightly nervous.

"I know Shoto, we've all trained so hard for this moment. However, I can't help but think of that incident when we tried to help Bakugo but somehow managed to make things worse." She sighed and before Shoto could speak the car stopped at the gate of the school.

"We've arrived." Lady pointed out as she unlocked the car.

"Shion, It's better to leave what happened behind and take it as learning experience. The last time we rushed in without taking the moment to assess the situation, we made our mistake and we should learn from it." Shoto comforted as he placed his hand on her shoulder, she took a deep breath in and then out and she nodded.

"Right."

With that the two walked through the gates and it was not long before they heard their names being called.

"Shoto, Shion!" They turned around and Izuku was running towards them.

"Izuku!" Shion beamed as he came over and he smiled too, as he was very happy to see them.

Izuku was really nervous be here that his limbs felt like they were made of bricks as he could tell that he moved rather stiffly than usual, but when he saw the twins his mood went a total 360 from anxious to excited.

So at he ran he Didn't noticed that his shoelaces were untied and he tripped, he closed his eyes waiting for impact on the cold hard concrete floor.

"Look out!"

"Eh?" He froze as he realised that he fell right into Shion's chest as she tried to catch him. His face turned red as he looked up to see her face scrunched in concern.

"Izu, are you okay?" She helped him up to his feet as flustered about. "I-I-I-I-I'm fine!' He squeaked.

"That's good. It would be a bad start if you fell." She smiled as she ruffled his hair.

"Y-you're right!" He wilted as he felt sour from being given the little brother treatment.

Shoto rolled his eyes as he watched Izuku, the boy was in for the long run before he could get it through his sister's thick skull that he likes her.

"Outta my way, losers!"

The looked back and saw Bakugo sneering at them.

"Kacchan!"

"Bakugo."

"Don't stand in front of me. I'll kill all of you." He growled.

"I'm glad, Kacchan looks laser focused for the exam." Izuku smiled, not at all deterred by Bakugo's hostility.

"Good luck Bakugo!" Shion raised as he walked ahead of them.

"He's been a lot calmer lately." Shoto muttered.
