The day had finally arrived for the students of the Hero Course to begin their combat training for Hero Basic Training. Rina sat in the staff room, a sigh escaping her lips as she was informed that she couldn't participate without the teacher's permission. All Might, the teacher of the class, wouldn't let her join. When she asked why, he replied, "I'm sorry, Rina, but for a long time now, you've been training your kids, Izuku and young Bakugo. I understand that you want to help, but I also want to be a teacher and help train our new generation. Please, you're my best friend, so let me do this."
Upon hearing his words, Rina couldn't bring herself to insist anymore. She sulked, her heart heavy with disappointment. She truly wanted to be a part of the training.
Rina brushed aside her disappointment and turned her attention to her upcoming lesson with Class 1-B. These students were known for their lack of head-on combat skills, strategic ability, and quick thinking. This was primarily due to their limited exposure to villain threats compared to Class 1-A during the series.
Despite their shortcomings, Rina appreciated their dedication to exploring their potential. She was determined to change a few things and transform this class into a formidable force of heroes, not just sidekicks.
Gathering her belongings, she made her way to her classroom, "Heroic Strategy Class." The room was set up like a computer lab, filled with engaging programs that Rina had prepared for her students. As she entered the classroom, she found the students of Class 1-B already seated. With a confident stride, she approached the front of the room, a cold breeze seeming to follow her.
"Welcome students to Heroic Strategy Class," she announced. "In this class, you will learn to hone your strategic prowess. Being a hero is more than just defeating villains. It's about acting smarter, not harder. I will teach you how to rally your forces, utilize strategies I've developed through my experience as a hero, and practice these skills in practical courses. Are there any questions before we begin?"
A hand shot up from the class, and Rina motioned for the student to ask their question. A young blonde-haired boy with bright blue eyes stood up. "Hello, Ms. North," he began. "It is an honor to have you teaching us. My name is Neito Monoma, and my question is, in the heat of battle, there will be times when strategies need to change. As a hero known for her strategies, what advice would you have for students like us?"
Rina had anticipated this question but not so early and on the first day. It seemed she would need to keep a close eye on Monoma.
"My advice is to prepare yourself," she replied. "Everyone, whether it's your teammates or the people you're trying to save, will depend on you. Monoma-kun is right; actual battles are brutal, and sometimes strategies won't work. But that doesn't change the fact that your decisions will determine who lives and who dies."
The students gulped, their faces filled with nervousness. Rina continued, "Don't look so frightened; that's why I'm here. Originally, the school didn't have a strategy class, but I insisted on it because I wanted to give you all the tools you need to be smart heroes. Now, although it's tedious, I'd like to evaluate your strategic thinking abilities through a game of chess. If you'll all turn on your computers."

Rina sat at her desk in the staff room, feeling accomplished after her first class with 1-B. She was excited to have lessons with other grades at U.A. Her thoughts were interrupted by a sudden burst into the staff room. It was her twin teens, Shoto and Shion, their faces etched with panic. "Mom— I mean Ms. North! We need your help! There's trouble in the nurse's office!" Shion gasped.
Alarmed, Rina stood up, her concern evident. Upon reaching the infirmary of Recovery Girl, her eyes widened at the scene before her. Midoriya Inko had Toshinori in a chokehold, her voice filled with rage. "How dare you, how dare you get my baby all hurt?!" she yelled. Midoriya Izuku, his face filled with panic, clung to his mother's clothes, begging, "Mom, please let All Might go! I swear I did this to myself!"
