France, 1002 -

By this point, the Mikaelson family have been on the run from their tyrant father for nearly a year. Their latest destination was in the south of France, on the outskirts of some nobleman's land.

The siblings were all on edge, much too preoccupied to notice the change that happened in Henriette, but she also wasn't eager to announce it, still unsure of what was happening.

After they drank their way through a carriage full of people, panic began to set among most of them, paying no mind to Finn and Elijah's bickering and unaware of a stranger in their midst.

Suddenly, a head popped up from the carriage that was supposedly littered with corpses, which all of them snapped their eyes to, ready to attack. Without warning, Henriette unwillingly lifted the stranger in the air, shocking both herself and her siblings. Several seconds later, the man fell to the ground with a thud, attempting to make a run for it. Kol stopped him in his tracks and handed him to Finn to stay put. The heretic took two steps backwards and covered her mouth with her hands to hide the shock on her face.

'Sister, I believe you have some explaining to do?' The second oldest Mikaelson inquired, surprise evident on his face, as the rest simply stared at their sister in shock.

She had dreaded this day from the day she first discovered her newfound abilities. The day those she loved would be terrified of her. The day she would have to accept it was real and any sense of 'normalcy' would end.
By the time she had mustered enough courage to begin forming an answer to her brother's question, a stream of hot tears was running down her face.

'I...I...' She murmured, not knowing where to start, visibly shaking and trying desperately to calm herself.

The wind picked up and leaves that were previously on the ground started violently swirling around the group. This only caused Henriette to further withdraw, and anyone who attempted to 'calm' her was promptly shoved away by the uncontrolled magic emitting from the heretic.

'You have never been able to perform any magic on your own and now you lifted someone in the air and almost start a bloody tornado like it's nothing!?' Kol beamed, though sounding like he was kilometers away.

The voice of the brother she was closest to seemed to tether her back to a sense of reality. The shock and anger in both his voice and face only heightened the fear she felt, however she somehow managed to stop the wind blowing in their faces. The realization of what she's just done started knotting in her stomach, making her feel sick.

'I... It first be- begun a- a few days after Esther and...' she said through tears but hesitated slightly, not even wanting to say his name 'him made us what we are now.' Her siblings all shared looks with each other, none of them aware of what she meant to explain. 'I- I m- made a pebble move, o- only a few centimeters, so I thought I was imagining things at first. Then almost a week later it happened again.' She spoke more confidently, though tears still occasionally grazed her now pink cheeks.

'So, while we all lost our magic becoming these monsters, yours only increased?' Kol raged and she took another step backwards, trying to suppress more tears from falling.

With tears in her eyes, she tried to brush his arm but he snapped it back. 'Kol... please, I'm still your sister, your little witch, right?' She begged, searching his brown eyes for anything... anything other than the fury and betrayal he felt towards her.

'No, you're no sister of mine anymore.' He stated coldly. 'You're nothing more than an abomination, a freak of nature.' He stared her straight in the eyes, never once hesitating. 'You know what 'Ette? I wish it had been you who had died instead of Henrik. At least he was normal.'

'You don't mean that.' She said, voice quivering slightly. 'Tell me you don't mean that Kol!' She demanded, her voice slightly raised. He simply started at her, anger evident in his eyes.

The rest of the siblings simply stared dumbfounded at the things their brother was able to say with such ease, slowly processing the scene that had unfolded. 'Well, anyone else got something to say?' She asked the rest of her siblings, anger beginning to make its way into her voice.

They shared silent looks with one another, regret clear on their faces, however, they stayed quiet.

'Fine.' She uttered. Without another word she sped away, vowing to never speak with them again.
