Chapter 2 : Too Much

I know Iris is not happy that I dragged her with me to met Kevin tonight but I don't have a choice, I don't know why do the hate each other so much? Why they can't be friends for god's sake! Since childhood, Kevin always pick on Iris, that's normal when they were children but they are all grown up now they shouldn't behave like this. I was thinking about them, but then Iris said - "Do I really need to go there, Luke? Not that I'm uncomfortable to go with you, it's just that I don't wanna see that bastard's face you know".

"It's not like you need to but I want you to come with me, you both should get along, I mean, come on Iris, it's been 14 years you guys have met but since that day all you both did was just keep acting childish and hating each other"- I said with a worried look on my face. "Okay fine, but if he crosses the line I swear I'm gonna punch him in the face"- Iris said angrily. It was clear that she wasn't happy with the fact that she's gonna meet Kevin after 3 months.

After we reached his house, we entered the house. "How was the trip, Mr. CEO?- I asked Kevin and hugged him. "It was nice man, you should have came with me too"- He replied. "You know I had a photoshoot with CK"- I said. "Yeah I know I know, our typical Luke"- He teasingly said.

Iris sat on the couch, put a resting face on and just watched us. "Wait, it's a really important call I'll talk to you guys later"- I said as I left to the terrace for the call.

IRIS

After sometimes of silence I finally spoke - "It was really nice wasn't having you around for THREE WHOLE MONTHS, Kevin". Kevin said - "So, did you missed me"?. "Oh, absolutely not"- I said in the rough tone. "Really? I think you're in denial, you love to deny things when it comes to me, Cupcake"- Kevin teasingly said.

My eyes were wide open in shock by his reply, "Pfft, SO ANNOYING"- I said, clearly annoyed. But Kevin was looking at me and smirking as if nothing happened, he looked at me from top to bottom, still got a grin on his face.

"What are you looking at, you weirdo?"- I said, Kevin softly replied - "AT YOU, why? Does it bother you?". I said - "Hell yeah, y-you're making me uncomfortable". "ADMIT IT! I make you nervous and you like it"- He said, still smirking.

Luke came back to the living room and heard what Kevin said. "Cut the crap! You guys should act like grown ups now and you, Kevin, I know  you like to tease her but this is just too much"- Luke angrily said as he was very mad at us. "Just stop hating each other, will you?. You guys are really good people but I don’t know why you both act differently when you talk to each other"- Luke said.
