"Rumi... listen to me" Akshita said following Rumika to the room.

Rumika stoped showing her back to Akshita.

"Rumi... please... listen to me." Akshita said with tears in her eyes. She hated herself for doing this to her best friend even knowing she love someone else but she had to do this.

She composed herself and touched Rumika arm.

"Ru.."

"What?!" Rumika yelled facing her friend.

"The day I stepped in your house.. this feeling of something is not right bubbling inside me
....I should have known your intentions....how could you do that Akshita!" Rumika yelled in one breathe.

Akshita heart clenched. She knew she was risking their trust. But she trusted their trust. Rumika would understand when she got to know the truth. The ugly truth.

Rumika locked her eyes with Akshita's eyes and asked in hoarse tone.

"Where is your brother's bride?"

"In front of me!" Akshita replied looking straight into her eyes.

Rumika exhaled frustratedly. She asked once again.

"Don't play games with me Akshita...we both know that you are the one behind Anjali's sudden disappearance."

"Yeah... I'm the one who kidnapped Anjali Kapoor. So?"
Akshita replied raising an eyebrow.

"Where She Is?" Rumika asked taking a step towards Akshita.

"I'm not some killer or monster who will kill her." Akshita said scoffing.

"She is safe and sound wherever she is....just marry my brother and she will be home all safe and sound." Akshita said folding her hands.

"And you have to get married one day though... so why not to my brother?... he's handsome, rich and we will get to live together for the life time.. what say? "

Akshita completed grinning leaving Rumika stunned. She didn't able to believe her ears... What she's just said!... what she was trying to do..huh?... selling her brother or buying her best friend?

The door of the room opened interrupting girls conversation.
Abhiraaj entered the room and closed the door behind him.

"Asked your granddaughter
...where she has kept Anjali?" Rumika said to Abhiraaj pointing towards Akshita.

Abhiraaj sighed and looked Akshita.

He then looked Rumika and took her hands and said in gentle tone.

"Marry my grandson Rumika."

Rumika got dumbfounded.

Marry marry marry....She hated this fucking word now. And she thought it's Akshita but here the whole family was involved in their daughter stupid plan and it all started the day she entered the Malhotra Mansion and she didn't even got a hint about all these.

She left the room instantly. Now her only hope was her grandmother. Only she can save her from this fucking marry word.

"Dadi.." Rumika ran towards Gayatri and hugged her.

"Dadi... please let's go from here...no one is here in their senses.. please dadi let's go." She cried.

Gayatri broke the hug and wiped Rumika cheeks.
"Dadi.... please.." Her tears were flowing nonstop.

Gayatri cupped her granddaughter face and said.
"Bacha you know... daughters have to leave her house one day...and when she does she takes all the peace of her family members."
