"Protogon turned Nightcrawler" - a K.P. Story

Chapter 2: Lost

August 1st, 2036

The blackout had begun and Protogon and Fed got lost from each other, Protogon, had ended up in the Support Caves and was walking down them as he was trying to get to safety before anything happened to him. Fed, on the other hand, was somewhere else. as Protogon walked down the support cave catwalk, he heard the distant sound of the Cloaker sound and fast running. Protogon had no idea what to do so he just ran.. ..or at least TRIED to run faster than whatever was rapidly approaching him. Then, Protogon got shoved into a metal shelf by a fast creature. "AUGH- I'M ALREADY DEFECTIVE, I DON'T NEED TO GET BRAIN DAMAGE!" Protogon shouted, the creature, now realizing he had hurt someone ran up to Protogon. "Sorry 'bout that! hehe.." The mysterious creature said, holding his hand out to Protogon. "Ngh.. it's fine.." Protogon said, taking the person's hand. "Names Jade. Jade the Nightcrawler!" Jade said. Protogon rubbed his eyes and saw the nightcrawler. Jade only wore a tan shirt with black sleeves and a collared under shirt.. with no pants.. "Why are you not wearing any pants??" Protogon asked. Jade giggled. "Well, that's 'cause I hate pants!" Jade said. Protogon let out an oddly irritated sigh. "I question this place more than I did when I got here.." Protogon said. Jade frowned. "hey.. I'm not that bad. I'm just a bit special, as my dad said." Jade said. Protogon blinked. "Whatever.." Protogon said as he walked down the catwalks further reaching a big blast door with the words 'NORTH SECTOR' over it. "..Authorized Personnel Only?" Protogon said as he read it. Jade was following Protogon this entire time. Protogon walked over to the Keypad and pressed it, and it well, was already opened. "..Let's see what's inside.." Protogon said as he walked into the room.

--WARHEAD: THETA SILO--

Protogon walked in, his eyes widening as he witnessed a huge ass WARHEAD in this Facility. Jade was equally as surprised as this room is normally closed off to the Gootraxians and low-level LAMINAX workers. "I knew this place may have been wanting Nuclear bombs from the Security reception's statue.. but I never actually expected this.." Protogon said. Jade nodded in agreement. "Y-Yeah.. It's.. something." Jade said, looking down at the Warhead. Then, something caught Protogon's eye. Some purple red color glow. Protogon approached the glow and found the same Goggles Jade was wearing but it was glowing a purple mixed with red color. "Hey, that's cool, never seen that kind of Nightcrawler Goggles before!" Jade said with a happy and cheerful tone. "Should I put them on..?" Protogon asked. Jade thought for a whole minute. "Yeah sure." Jade finally responded. "Alright." Protogon said, putting on the goggles. "You feel like you're full of kindness and rage.. and also you feel invincible.." "huh.. strange feeling." Protogon said. Jade smiled happily. "You look cool in those goggles!!" Jade said with much enthusiasm. Protogon enjoyed Jade's enthusiasm and went to the control room. "Huh, guess the Warhead is broken." Protogon said while looking at the keypad that clearly said 'ERROR' on it. "Yeah, maybe cause it's a blackout, ever thought about that???" Jade asked. Protogon just sighed and nodded. They then walked to the exit of the silo then Protogon fell to the ground, turning into a goggled nightcrawler. "Oh- Oh no, dude, are you alright?!" Jade asked in a shaky voice. "Y-Yeah, I remember what happened.." Protogon said. Jade was happy to hear that as Gootraxians don't really get memories of their human life. "That's great, Er.. What's your name..?" Jade asked. Protogon looked at Jade. "Protogon. The names Protogon." Protogon said. "That's great you remember your memories, Protogon!" Jade said. Protogon nodded and they finally left the silo.

--SUPPORT CAVES--

Humans, specifically a group of hazmat suit wearing humans holding scythes watched the two Goggled Nightcrawlers walk out the silo. "..How the fuck are there two Goggled Nightcrawlers..?" one of the humans asked. The leader, who had a flashlight on him looked back to his crew. "Well, you gotta know about the Nightcrawler Legion." The Leader said. looking at his crew, then turned back to the Nightcrawlers, with a stern expression on his face. "Now, you two.. better run before we kill you." The Leader said. "We're not here to fuck around, we are really serious about what we do here." The Leader's right-hand man added. Protogon looked at the Leader of the group of Humans that have been working in LAMINAX since the start. "Tell us your names and what your group name is." Protogon said. The Leader of the Group was taken aback as this Nightcrawler didn't really sound normal.. it sounded like a Panther mixed with a Nightcrawler. "That's odd.. Anyway, My group's name is the Nightcrawler Exterminators.. and I'm well, Rob.. I'm kinda dating a Hazzy.." Rob said. Protogon chuckled a bit. "You're dating a Gootraxian yet you decide to kill others?" Protogon asked. Rob had a nervous sweat roll down his face. Rob was obviously nervous. "Y-Yeah..? I am..?" Rob said. Protogon approached Rob then a Human with an axe ran up to Protogon. "..." Protogon silently stared at the human before grabbing them by the neck and throwing them over the catwalks and into the abyss below the Catwalks. The group of humans were now terrified of Protogon, as they should be. Jade began to walk up to the group and began to pummel them, some of them became Hazzys and some of them ran away to safety. Protogon watched them run, knowing that he could easily catch them if he pursued, but he decided to not do that. Protogon looked down at Rob who was on the verge of becoming a Hazzy. "P-Please spare me.." Rob plead. Protogon felt a hint of remorse and walked away with Jade, leaving Rob to heal. "Wow, you're great at helping in fights!" Jade said sarcastically. "I'm not much of a fighter, don't really feel like getting involved in those kinds of things." Protogon said with a grin, Jade admired the sharp ass teeth in Protogon's mouth. "Woah.. That's so cool!" Jade said. Protogon blinked and just shrugged and continued to walk. They went into the former Gas Room, now holding Toxic Waste.

--TOXIC-WASTE STORAGE ROOM--

Protogon and Jade walked in, witnessing a Toxic Rabbit get thrown into the abyss in the center of the Toxic-Waste Storage Room. "well, sucks to be that guy." Jade said. Protogon shrugged and continued to walk until he met a Jammer. specifically a Jammer wearing.. Cheerleader wear..? "What." Protogon said. CJ (Cheerleader Jammer) turned around and greeted the two. "Hello there, You two!" CJ Said. Protogon was quite concerned for this specific Jammer's well-being as well, you don't really see cheerleaders always wearing their outfits in public like this all the time. Well, Protogon just shoved CJ out of the way and inspected some of the nuclear barrels and then, the same toxic rabbit that was thrown into the abyss popped out of one. "WHAT THE-!? I saw you DIE! How in the ever-loving HELL did you come back?!" Protogon asked, frantically. Cesar laughed. "I am literally William Afton, I always come back!" Cesar said with strange amounts of enthusiasm. "I haven't been in this facility for a day and I'm starting to slowly lose my damn SANITY. God DAMN.." Protogon said, as he well, got up because Cesar popping out of the Nuclear Barrel caught him so off guard that he fell back. Jade was apparently trying to pick up a sledgehammer but uh, man he weak as hell. Protogon walked over to CJ. "What's your name?" Protogon asked. CJ Smiled at Protogon. "My name is CJ, or Cheerleader Jammer for short." CJ Said. Protogon blinked. "My name is Protogon." Protogon said. "nice to meet you, Protogon!" CJ Said. "..Who are you again?" CJ asked not even a minute later. Protogon sighed and walked away, picking up Jade and making his way to the exit. "Awwwww, do we have to leave..?" Jade asked. Protogon nodded and Jade let out a sigh of sadness. Protogon went through the door on the opposite side of the abyss that Cesar was thrown in.

--SHORK POOLS--

Protogon saw the water and instantly knew there was a pool, without hesitation this man jumped into the water and caused a giant splash. "Ugh, dude, do you mind..?" A blue Nightcrawler asked. Protogon got up and looked at the Blue nightcrawler. "Hey, you're like me and Jade but blue!" Protogon said. Zharakan looked at Protogon. "Yeah? What about it?! got a problem with blue nightcrawlers?!" Zharakan aggressively asked Protogon. Protogon shook his head no and stretched, water all over him. He noticed a Shork approaching and got defensive. Wisp approached the trio of Nightcrawlers with a look of Malice. "Well well well, look what we got here.. A group of lone Nightcrawlers, probably weak aswell~.." Wisp said with a tone of intentional malice. Protogon cracked his knuckles, letting his kindness go to sleep as his Goggles and body markings turn blood red, the Panther side of him was officially released, without hesitation, Protogon grabbed Wisp and began to beat his ass. Wisp, never have gotten his ass beat by a Nightcrawler before, was confused normally he could easily take a group of Goggled Nightcrawlers down by himself. Protogon then threw Wisp at the wall, effectively knocking him out. Protogon turned to normal and turned to Jade and Zharakan. "Wow.. That was pretty sick." Zharakan said, impressed by Protogon's fighting. "Thank you.. I fight a bit, to be completely honest.." Protogon said. Zharakan got up and walked over to Protogon. "Well, should we get out of here?" Zharakan asked. Protogon nodded and walked with Zharakan and Jade to the other side of the Shork Pools, where the Barrier was down, and the Humans were fighting for their lives against the Panthers. Protogon was surprised to see that Gootraxians would hurt humans like this. But, Protogon assumed it was normal and moved on with his day, then, the lights came back on and the Blackout was over. "Hey, why don't we go live in the Underground Camp?" Jade suggested. Zharakan and Protogon looked at each other. "Sure." Protogon said, they then went to the Underground camp.
