"Hm. Liyue Harbor is exactly as I remember it." You said, gazing out at the Harbor, which was especially beautiful with the sun just about to set.
"Ah, so you've been here before?" Scaramouche asked you, staring out at Liyue Harbor as well.
The two of you were on a cliff overlooking the Harbor, with you a few steps behind Scaramouche as a show of respect. (And you also didn't want to fall off the cliff, Scaramouche was standing so close to the edge you were beginning to wonder if he had a death wish.)
"Yeah, I was born in Mondstat but then my parents moved to Liyue when I was 8."
"I didn't ask for your life story." Scaramouche said, glaring at you.
You... kinda did though. Actually, he didn't, the oversharing is on me. You thought, placing a hand over your chest.
"My apologies, Lord Scaramouche. If you don't mind me asking... who are we after? Do we have any references or anything?" You asked tilting your head in Scaramouches general direction.
"Yet another instance of you not doing your research... the suspects name is Lichung, he's a 35 year old male. Whereabouts unknown."
You nodded, thinking.
"... I'm sorry my lord, but I've got nothing. How about we go and ask the locals? They're sure to know something."
Scaramouche looked over at you in slight disgust.
"'I've got nothing'? Wow, you sure do have lots of helpful traits."
You crossed your arms at him, about to make some witty remark that would probably be embarrassing to say, before deciding not to say it (for the sake of your dignity and life) so you just nodded.
"What? Cat got your tongue?" Scaramouche asked, placing a hand on his hip.
"No, my lord... I just didn't know what to say to that." You admitted, looking at the ground.
"Ha! You're quite the honest girl, it makes me wonder how you've survived this long in the Fatui." Scaramouche said, smirking at you.
Is it just me, or is he less mean than how most people say he is? Maybe he wants something from me. Or maybe he's having a fun time annoying me.
"Sometimes honesty is the best policy, my lord."
Why did you say that. That's something that kids say, not adults! Especially not adults in the Fatui!
"Es— especially when it's um, ah, an awesome harbinger like you, I wouldn't dare.." your face was probably a tomato by now, you were fumbling this conversation so hard. "I ...never mind!"
