"Oh my goodness he is SO IRRITATING." The young witch complained shoving her head in her hands. Tori looked up from her book, for she had been stuck listening to Adelaides whining for the past half hour.

"I'm sure he's not that bad Ad, he's probably doesn't realise he's being stupid." Lopez says trying to comfort the young girl. Adelaide raised her head up from her hands momentarily.
"I'm sure he doesn't realise' YES HE DOES. HE DOES IT ON PURPOSE AND IM STUCK WITH IT FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR!" She groaned once again shoving her head in her hands.

"Hey ad you okay?." She heard a familiar voice ask from behind her. As if she needed a confirmation, her friends face started to taint itself slightly pink, for she had a small crush on Harry potters friend, Ronald Weasley.

She turned round. "Yes I'm fine, Haz, Ron." She replied, nodding at Ron as she acknowledged him. She felt bad for her friend crushing on Ron for she had heard from Harry that he liked Hermione, but she never had the Heart to relay this information to her friend.

"She's just sulking over a boy." Tori teased,
And Harry raised his eyebrows. "Oh, a boy? I never thought I would see the day." He nudged Ron as he chuckled.
"Not in that way Harry." She started, preparing to to defend herself against any allegations. "Speaking of, shouldn't you be studying with him right now, Ad?" Tori smirked.

"Oh shit." The colour drained from her face as she grabbed her books and made her way out of the hall. "Make sure to keep it PG." Harry shouts after her. Making her roll her eyes.

She walked in the library to see Mattheo sat at a table, his books were spread out in front of him, but he was swinging a pocket knife around his fingers.
When he heard footsteps rushing towards him his head snapped up.

"Ahh, look who finally decided to show." He started. "Mattheo. Shut up. I'm here to work on our project, not listen to you speak absolute nonsense."  He smirked as she finished her sentence. "Wow." He chuckled "she bites back."
She scowled at him before opening her books.

She instantly got to work, ignoring the stare that dug wholes in her head. 'The draught of peace is a potion, aimed to relieve people of their stress, agitation or anxiety.' She wrote. 'To make this potion you need powdered moonstone, syrup of hellebore-.'

Just then her quill ran across the page leaving a giant streak of ink. She gasped, Her anger bubbling up. She looked to see Mattheo slightly smirking, and she dug her nails into her palms, trying to stop herself from doing or saying something she would regret.

"Mattheo what the fuck?!" She shouted.
"Sorry darlin, my wand just... slipped." He looked up at her, his face feigning innocence, but his eyes sparkling with mischief.

She looked back at him, annoyance clearly showing on her features, so much so you could practically see the steam coming from her ears. "You know, if you keep scowling like that, your pretty face is going to be ruined by an early appearance of wrinkles."

Adelaide was usually a very well preserved person, or at least she appeared to be so, but that was her last straw. She sucked in a sharp breath. "Mattheo now I have to rewrite all my fucking notes."

He shrugged looking at her nonchalantly. "Well this is partner work so we can both just rewrite them." But she was so annoyed she couldn't stand to look at him any longer. They were just notes but he was already an irritating person, and that made her all THAT much angrier.

She stormed off before he could say another word
"Or not." He muttered under his breath, watching the girl disappear down the hall.
Feeling somewhat slightly guilty, he started to write up the rest of the work for her.

"I AM GOING TO KILL THAT BOY." She Huffed as she sped into the Gryffindor common room. She usually wouldn't go there, but she decided she would rather rant to her brother than to Tori, who was probably busy reading or something.
Her brother chuckled at her, whilst Ron nudged her. "And how would you do that Ad?" Ron asked with a smirk.
"Oh, I don't know, maybe I'll shove him off the astronomy tower."

The two boys laughed as the witch focused on calming herself down, for she wanted to get rid of the redness that covered her cheeks.

"This new boy, what was his name again?" Hermione asked looking up from the book she was reading.
"Mattheo Riddle." She answered blankly.
Harry and Hermione immediately froze up.

"Riddle, where have I heard that from before. It sounds familiar."
Hermione hit the Weasley boy with a newspaper she picked up off the arm of the chair. "Riddle." Harry gulped. "As in, Tom Riddle." He continued.

"Who's Tom- ohhhh." Rons eyes widened. "You mean the the book, the horcrux, year two? VOLDER-." He was interrupted by Hermione shushing him. "Yes." She began. "Tom riddle, a.k.a., lord Voldemort." She finished in a hushed voice.

Harry looked at Adelaide. "That means he must be, in some way related to voldermort. Adelaide, promise me you'll stay away from him please."

She looked at him, noticing how worry covered his features. "Harry, I have to sit next to him in potions." He bit his lip thinking to himself for a moment. "Ok then at least, stay away from him when you can. You don't know what he could be doing here. He most definitely can not be trusted." Hermione and Ron both nodded in agreement.

And that was how it was decided. She was to stay away from this boy. But how could she, when fate had knotted their stings together, and someone had already started tugging on the inevitable.
