Valin, a Chief of Hellhounds known as Duran Bane, who stayed with the old ways of Nordic culture, and the only ones who made the Exterminators know fear. But Valin made them terrified, as he was more brutal, more strategic, and had more bravery then the Exterminators did. On the 5th of October, the Exterminators grew desperate, so, they sent one of them to kill Valin, a Angel known as Moira, a Hound of God with a fury tempered with steel.

When the two Hounds met, they stood strong, looking for a sign of fear. Neither of them found that fear, and that made them both respect each other a bit. Both heald their swords, bracing for impact, but neither moved, not for a few minutes. Most that day thought they saw worry on their faces, but all the two warriors saw in each other was curiosity. But, taking the advantage, Valin rushed, and went for a quick kill, he swung his sword right, cleaving through flesh.

Or that's what Would have happened. What actually happened was she blocked the sword with her own and jumped back, and kicked high, nearly taking his head off. Nearly. When Valin caught himself, he knew he was fighting a worthy foe. Over the next two hours, they hacked and slashed at one another until they clashed their blades together and they broke, most would have ran, but not Valin, and not Moira.

Both tossed their broken blades down and went at each other with their bare fists. She hit hard, as did he, she found a worthy foe as well. Several hours of fighting, both bleeding from busted lips and gashes on their heads and bodies, but they stood, staring each other down, but this was different. Both the Angel and Demon learned something about each other that day, there was still Honor within both Ilks. Both respected each other more, and, unknowingly, they fell in love.

3 months after their battle, both Moira and Valin couldn't stop thinking about each other, the way they fought, the way they went for the throat, the way they went for the Kill. But when the time came, they honored each other and let each other go. Valin thought about the Angel he fought, he knew something was off, so, without hesitation, he left the village of Duran Bane and went to the forest and sat down at a pile of stones forming a cross.

As he sat, he considered what he was doing, and decided it was worth a shot, and did something Demons never do. He Prayed. He Prayed to God to let him see that Angel again, to see her, even if it meant more fighting, he would, just to see her. And God didn't hear his prayer, but She did. And when she went down to him, she bared no weapons, as he didn't either. When the two saw each other, their spiritual differences begged them to keep apart, but their hearts begged them to hold each other.

And they did. They couldn't resist each other. She wanted his heart, he wanted her love, and they gave each other what they wanted that night, and many nights after that. Love was all they wanted to do, hold each other close, never letting go kind of love. A kind love. A wonderful love. A Beautiful Love.
