Wally pov-

I was on my break from fencing classes and decided to sneak away with Julie (The Queen of the Clubs kingdom). As we were escaping she led me to an unknown forest. After a while of exploring we lost our path and forgot to bring our compasses . As I walked around with Julie, trying to find our way back to the palace I was so focused on the trees and the ground, trying to look for a path anywhere. I felt a soft tap. I got startled so I drew my sword and held it against the mysterious figure. I closed my eyes tight since I wasn't the best when it came to swords but it was going to have to do for now.

"What are you doing here? You seem from the palace. Are you lost?" The mysterious voice said with a gentle tone. I opened one eye to be met with a beautiful women (handsome man(?). They wore a r/c colored cloak and a f/c dress. It took me a second to process what she asked but when I did I quickly corrected my posture and put on a slightly more serious face. I retracted my sword and put it back into its place before I spoke up.

"Yes, could you help me and my friend back into the palace?"

"Of course, we're not really that far from the palace anyways."

The mysterious figure then noticed that Julie was hiding behind a tree and softened their gaze. They walked towards  Julie and talked to her softly, they was kind and gentle. Not to mention quite attractive. Who are they, anyways? 'They' re kind of cute' I thought. Wait. No I just met them. i don't even know her name! I could feel my cheeks(?) turn hot. I then slightly shook my head and decided to join the conversation they were having.

"So, do you know the way back? We'll have to be back in a few minutes for some important meetings soon."

"Yes. I know this forest as if it was like the back of my hand, love. Now, come along!" She said as she started walking in a random direction. Shortly after that we started following her and soon enough we ended up on a pathway that looked man-made. The silence was too much to bear so I decided to make some small talk.

"So. What's your name?" I had a slight nervous tone since this was a kind of awkward situation to be in.

"Oh, my name is y/n. What about you?" Her voice was calming and smooth. Like a beautiful lullaby.

"My name is Wally. Sorry for not introducing myself anytime soon. I was in a bit of a panic"

"Oh, no worries. I would too if I was lost." She slightly chuckled before the deafening silence was heard once more. Oh the dread of silence, how much I hate it. Fortunately, y/n spoke up.

" ...If it's not too much to ask but...Why were you in the forest anyways? I'm not judging or anything but. it's quite unusual for royals to be in the forest at these times."

"Well, when I finished my fencing practice Julie and I decided to visit the forest since it sounded like a nice idea, until...we got lost" I slightly blushed out of embarrassment but kept my iconic smile on.

"Well! At least we have help now!" Julie jumped into the conversation. I forgot she was there. I was kind of disappointed that it wasn't only me and y/n...wait..what?

After a few minutes of endless walking and talking we finally ended up back at the palace. Julie went running towards Frank, who was reading a book on a side of a fountain in the garden outside of the palace.

"FRANK! OH, YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED TODAY!!!" Julie said in her usual energetic voice. She then tackled him onto the grass and then helped him get up before they both headed inside to talk along with having some tea and scones. I then turned to y/n and smiled at her before talking.

"Thank you for guiding me and my friend, y/n. It was truly a pleasure meeting you."

"Thank you. The pleasure is all mine" She then bowed down at me and turned to take her leave. But before she could have the chance to I spoke.

"Wait!"

She turned around and looked at me with a slightly raised eyebrow. I felt myself blush but cleared my throat before speaking again.

"Would you like to join me and Julie for tea? As a thank you for your gratitude?" Her gaze softened and her e/c eyes met mine. I got mesmerized by them that I didn't notice that she was walking towards me. But when I did she was almost face to face wit me. I was now blushing a very bright red and she chuckled a bit.

"As much as I would love to, I am afraid that I have to get back home. I have to take care of my siblings and they are probably worried-sick for where I am by now. Maybe another time though."

I felt a slight disappointed feeling in my chest but knew that I couldn't force her. She then put more distance between us.

"Until we meet again..." I said in a soft voice. I was still slightly blushing from the interaction that occurred a few seconds ago.

"Of course" She responded before walking back into the forest. She is very interesting and interesting. After a few minutes of me standing in place Julie they tapped me on the shoulder, wich made me snap out of my thoughts.

"Oh, Julie! What do you need?"

"Wally. You were standing there for 5 minutes straight. Are you okay?" Her voice sounded generally concerned.

"Yes,yes. I'm fine, I promise. I was just thinking about today so far."

"Hmmmm....Do you perhaps, take a liking y/n?" Her voice was slightly teasing as she gave me a smug grin. I flt myself blush once again before I turned my head away slightly.

"N-no I just....I just think she's interesting"

"Suuuurrrreeeeee. Anyways, are you coming inside for tea or are you going to keep daydreaming?" Julie said as she was walking towards the entrance of the palace.

I then look back towards the direction y/n left before looking back at the palace entrance where Julie stood.

"I'll be right there, Julie" I said as I walked towards her as she entered the palace.

I hope we meet again soon, lady y/n...
