Leslie's perspective
"There are twenty five rooms in the lodge," Ricky begins with a tone of an old sailor telling a story of his time at sea, "each comes furnished with furniture crafted from local spruce and pine trees, expertly carved by some of the countries finest woodworkers" he touts proudly, "local wood huh? That doesn't seem very preservative of the national park" Marnie remarks sarcastically. Ricky rolls his eyes, never having been a fan of her snarky attitude. Although it does prompt a sharp exhale of amusement from Wanda. "As I was saying, the furniture and woodwork in these rooms is exquisite, as it has to be, many famous guests have graced these halls, including park godfather and president Theo Roosevelt, Marylin Monroe, and even her majesty the queen of England!" He stops walking in front of a giant stained mahogany door to a room, a brass plate on the wall besides it reads "room 13" pulling a key from his pocket and inserting it into the crested brass doorknob, turning it and opening the door to reveal a lavish room, prompting a gasp of awe from Dana and Jenny. To the far of the room are 3 cieling height picture glass windows, which cast bright white light on a marble fireplace, a living room in the middle is complemented my ornate wooden and velvet furniture. "The bathroom is to the right, it has a jacuzzi tub, and heated floors, and to the left of that is your stateroom! Make sure to call down for room service if needed, this room is to be Jenny's" Jenny lets out an adorable gawk of delight. I wave bye to her her as she closes the door behind her, a big smile painted on her face tells me she has plans for that jacuzzi bathtub.
Dana's perspective
As Jenny closes the door behind her, already have my tossed her luggage to the floor and began undressing for a bath, I hear Ricky beckon to me. "Dana, as for you my dear, Jenny and you will be neighbors!" Cool, I think to myself, this shouldn't be awkward at all. I push open the door of room 12 to reveal a similar scene to that of Jenny's room, the key difference being that the red velvet in her stateroom seems to be replaced by a shiny emerald green velvet in mine. A welcome change, as I have always been a bit of a green girl personally. "It's lovely" I say, taken aback by its borderline gaudiness. "Wait!" I shout before he leaves me to my own devices, "what about roommates? Is that allowed?" Ricky smirks a bit. "Big plans with someone, new-girl?" I blush. "N-no, sorry, I just, I don't like being alone" he chuckles "I'm joshing you, of course! This isn't a sleepover and you aren't 10 years old, feel free to invite anyone over you want" I smile affirmatively, I hate sleeping alone, I hate BEING alone actually, when I was a kid someone broke into my house while I was home alone. I had to hide in our bathroom and call the police as they tried to break the door down. God knows what they'd have done to me if they got through it before the police did. But I'm not worried about that as much here, but at the Same time, in the middle of the woods, who is there to here you scream?
Marnies perspective
Dana shuts the door behind her as if she's sealing herself in her coffin, clearly pooped to all hell by a day of enduring our college class. I love a bothered diva. "As for our resident smart Alec, and our big moody brute," ooh boy I wonder who he could be referring to, I think as I look over to meet my brothers gaze, both of us rolling our eyes in unison. "Marnie and Morgan, you two will be sharing a room as you are some of the only siblings here, and we need to keep at least 50% vacancy in case any last minute vacationers show up" i let out a sigh of disappointment "well, so much for my plans to live my winter woman fantasy" I say sarcastically, "ok, ew" Morgan whispers under his breath as i elbow him in the gut. Ricky smiles, humored. Christ he is a specimen. His beautiful blonde hair falling over his pristine blue eyes like a waterfall of silk, if i do live that fantasy, I hope it's with him. And maybe it would be if he wasn't head over fucking heels for Wanda. As usual, I have become entangled in an incredibly uncomfortable love triangle. Before I can keep staring at Ricky for an inappropriate amount of time, Morgan catches onto my condition and pulls me into the room, shutting the door behind us.
