The next day

Stellas POV

Me and Kelly were currently on our way to shift, today was also the day we would be telling everyone about the babies, we decided to go with the plan of placing the two firefighter outfits at both of our Rigs and hoping someone questions them and I guess we will see how it plays out.

We had got to shift a little early so we could discuss the whole idea to Boden as expected he loved the idea and agreed to go along with the plan of issuing a rig cleaning duty to everyone in the firehouse during briefing. After speaking with Boden I went and placed one outfit on trucks rig and Kelly placed the other on squads.

I placed the helmet on the back seat behind my front seat, the trousers hung over the door and the little booties on the steps into the rig before closing the door so no one sees them as they come in. I walk round to squads rig and look where Kelly's put the 2nd outfit and he's put the helmet on his front seat the trousers on the door like I did and he was still holding the boots.

"Struggling to find where to put them" I ask as he jumps "you scared me then" he says holding his chest as he chuckles "sorry" I say with a slight chuckle.

"But yeah I am, where have you put yours" he asks me as I point to the steps into the rig "on the steps" I say as he smiles"why didn't I think of that" he says jumping down onto the floor and then placing the boots on the steps. He then closes the door and looks at me as I wrap my arms around him, he wraps his arms around my shoulders and kisses the top of my head "you ready for everyone to find out" he says as I lift my head up and look at him "oh definitely, I wonder how everyone is going to react" I say as Kelly shrugs "I guess we're about to find out" Kelly says nudging his head forward as I turn around and see everyone arriving at the firehouse at the same time.
"Let's go wait in the briefing room" I say grabbing Kelly's hand and walking inside to the briefing room.

It wasn't long before everyone came in with us, Kelly was sat leant against a table with his foot up on a chair as I stood between his legs with my back against his chest, facing the front, waiting for Boden to come in, everyone was chatting amongst themselves and Kelly had his head resting on my shoulder as his arms were wrapped around my waist hiding the bit of a bump I have so far.

"Right 51 listen up" I hear Boden say as everyone stops talking and looks to the front at Boden. He goes through his list of important notices including how 51 has an inspection next shift which tied in nicely with our plan.

"Which leads me to my next point, trucks and squads rigs look like they haven't felt the touch of soapy water in months, I want them spotless within the hour which means Lieutenants I want truck and squad out there immediately giving them a good clean" Boden says looking at me and Kelly as we nod "absolutely chief" Kelly says as Herman turns around "you gotta get your teases in gear, my rig is spotless" he says as he high fives his team "well in that case you can show them how it's done then" Boden says to Herman which immediately shuts him up. "that's that, everyone out onto the app floor I want to be able to see my reflection on those rigs" Boden says as everyone stands up and leaves the briefing room heading straight to the app floor.

Me and Kelly walk behind them all, as they all groan grabbing a bucket and sponge "why does cleaning duties always land on 2nd shift" Capp says as Kelly whips a cloth at him "stop complaining and just get it done" Kelly says as I chuckle, I grab a bucket of soapy water and a sponge and carry it in front of my stomach and walk over to trucks rig and start wiping down the back of it.

"Put your backs in to it, you don't get a good looking rig like ours without a little effort" I hear Herman say as I see Kelly turn and throw a wet sponge at him "come on then, don't just stand there show us how it's done" Kelly says as Herman catches the wet sponge then walking over to squads rig "it's all in the technique" I hear Herman say as Kelly looks at me and rolls his eyes as I chuckle. I stayed wiping around the bottoms of the rig so I didn't need to stretch and accidentally reveal my small bump.
