It had been a whole week since the incident with Bailey and Brooklyn, me and Kelly have gone to visit them everyday unfortunately Bailey is still in a coma whilst her burns heal so she wasn't in any pain, Brooklyn on the other hand was ready to be discharged and was just waiting for a family or home to become available to take her in as a temporary foster.

Kelly had become almost best friends with Brooklyn and her face would light up every time she seen him. He would play peek a boo with her and bring her some toys from the play room down the hall and play with them with her.

I wasn't sure if seeing him like that helped me through the ache of loosing ours or ached me even more knowing I wasn't able to give him our own.

In regards to our baby making journey, We have spoken and decided we would keep trying I visited my OBGYN a couple of days ago and she confirmed all the tissue and Fetus had passed and we can start trying again as soon as we both feel emotionally ready to start again.

I was worried that it just felt like we was quickly trying to replace the one we lost but Kelly assured me that we was just creating the same one again, giving him or her a second chance at life which helped me a lot.

I watched as Kelly was now sat on the opposite chair holding Brooklyn on his lap as he read her a story, I watched as her eyes slowly blinked before they eventually remained shut, falling asleep against Kelly as Kelly continued to read.

I heard a knock on the door as dr manning came in with Maria, she has been covering the girls case at DCFS."It's finally time for Brooklyn to get out of here, we have found a perfect little home for her, it's an all girls home in Orland park, they even said they have a place for Bailey when she's ready to be discharged" Maria says as I look over at Kelly and Brooklyn.

Who has now put the book down as he looks down at Brooklyn noticing she is asleep "is she going now?" Kelly asks "yeah it's time now, there is no reason for her to be here anymore, she is all mended, and healthy" manning says as Maria walks over to Kelly and picks Brooklyn up out of his arms.

I notice her waking up a little as she looks up at Maria and starts to cry, Maria strokes her back and settles her as Kelly stands up as he rests his hands on his hips staring at Maria and Brooklyn intently as he brings his hand to his mouth as he rubs his chin.

I stand up and go over to Kelly as I wrap my arms around his waist "are you sure she will be looked after here?" I ask Maria as she nods "absolutely, it's a beautiful home, she will be placed there until she is placed for adoption, we will try our best to find a family that will take on the both of them, but these days finding a family that can provide for 2 children at once is very difficult" Maria says as I nod and rest my head on Kelly's shoulder as We watch Maria walk out with Brooklyn.

There's another knock at the door as I see Dr Scott standing there "dr manning, it's Bailey, she's waking up" he says as dr manning runs out and me and Kelly look at each other before we follow her.

We head to Baileys room and are told to wait outside and I stand at the window and I see a few nurses holding her down as she flares her arms and legs about, Dr manning quickly disconnects the tubes in her mouth as she takes them out causing her to choke a little as they come up her throat, they lift her bed up so she's now sitting up.

She looks around the room and the same terrified look is written across her face as she flinched with each of the doctors and nurses movements. I feel Kelly's stand behind me as he wraps his arms around my shoulders as we both watch them check Bailey over.

They all soon start to leave the room as dr manning talks to Bailey, I see her point at me and Kelly as Bailey looks over at us, she smiles at us before turning back to dr manning as I try to read her lips but struggling.
