The Next Day
It was almost evening, around five. I was strong enough to go for class but not entirely ok so I just skipped today. Ding. My phone doesn't make that sound by the way.
Who texted?
Oh....Robyn. Tik tok again? I don't get why I never asked her why she texted me there either but oh well.....texting is texting so.
"Are you ok?"
"No.....no I'm not."
"What about your temperature?"
"It's ok now."
"Please get some rest then."
"Ok."
Was I able to sleep right away? No. Did I get some rest? Well yes.....eventually. I don't really remember the time - I don't remember a lot of things - but I woke up to my phone ringing. You guessed right....it was Robyn.
"Hey, how ya feeling now?"
"I'm a bit better I guess."
"Alright I'm coming over. Imma bring some meds for you too cos it seems the ones you have aren't really working. I'll let you know when I'm almost there."
"Alright sure, thanks."
"Do you want anything?"
"Chocolate. You owe me chocolate."
She laughed, "Yes I know, but it's late right now, where am I gonna get it from?"
"I don't know. Anyways lemme know when you're close."
"Okay, later." I hung up. I have to eat.....again. But I don't feel like eating or moving or doing anything for that matter. I was laying down so I raised my head to check if Anna was there.
She was....but she had my airpods in.
"Hey Anna."
She couldn't hear me......I started looking around the bed for something to throw. A shirt? And it's not mine. Well that should do. I picked it up and threw it to her, landing on her face.
I had to stifle a laugh.
"I called you. Robyn said she's coming over."
"Hmm. OK. Let me know when she gets her so I help you out."
"Ok."
After the last incident, I wasn't planning on going with anyone to meet her.....I mean that in the best way possible.
About thirty minutes later, she texted me.
"Hey, I'm outside. Come out please. And don't keep me waiting."
"Do I ever?"
"Yes you do."
"I was getting my hoodie."
"But it's over now so...."
