Let's skip to the part where they have learnt it, shall we? That part's boring

They had done it. Learnt it all. Giyu stood there, bruises covering his face. A smile tugged at the edges of his face. He had learnt water breathing. Thinking back, now all they had to do before the fight with Nezuko and Tanjiro was hone their skills.

"Rengoku-san, could you come here for a minute?" Giyu whisper-screamed at Rengoku.

"WHAT?" Rengoku yelled, a smile plastered on his face,"I COULD NOT HEAR THAT! PLEASE SPEAK LOUDER!"

"Will you be willing to spar with me? Please?" Giyu said it louder this time. Rengoku looked at him and nodded.

"Why not?"

They went to a training ground and went into their fighting stances. They sprung towards each other, their swords clashing with a loud 'clang!'

Giyu tried to read Rengoku's movements. He was on the defensive side, and Rengoku was fighting offensive. Rengoku's flame breathing focused mainly on large-range attacks, while water breathing was a flexible style. It didn't seem like Giyu had an upper hand in this fight.

He didn't.

It was only a few minutes after Giyu was thrown onto the floor. But it was not an easy fight for Kyojuro, too. He was panting heavily.

"Good fight, Tomioka! Really-enjoyed it!" He panted, keeping the smile up. Giyu smiled too.

"Hey."

Giyu heard a small voice. He saw the butterfly girl emerge from the trees. His heart beat against his chest. Was she watching he whole time? Giyu's face felt red hot with embarrassment.

"Ne, Tomioka-san, can i spar with you?" Shinobu asked sweetly.

"Uh-uhm, ok, Kocho," Giyu stuttered. How did he stutter? He was to cold prince of the Water Kingdom.

Rengoku moved to the middle of the training ground and Shinobu stood opposite Giyu. He smirked and crossed his arms.

"BEGIN!"

The match was over in three seconds. Giyu had Shinobu pinned to the floor with his sword. Giyu had won.

Or did he? Shinobu smirked.

Giyu felt all the parts of his body. Blood leaked from all parts of his upper body. It felt like he had been stabbed a million time. He fell over in pain and clutched his chest. Shinobu got up and caressed the deep cut Giyu had given her, purple blood spiling.

"Shoot, did I overdo it?" Shinobu ran over to Giyu and frantically began fussing over his wounds. Giyu almost felt like fainting. With his blood loss, and how close the love of his life was.

Rengoku smirked."I ship it already," he muttered to himself as he went to help Shinobu get Giyu back to one of the houses.

After a week, Giyu's injuries had fully healed. The trainers had made them assemble in an open ground.

"Your training is finally over. Now to see if it has paid off," The trainers parted to reveal two people.

Tanjiro and Nezuko. The final challenge has arrived.
