HOURS AFTER THE BALL

1:00 am

"His skin was flawless and glowed with this like radiant warmth and He stood so tall and proud as if he was just exuding confidence and charisma.
He was obviously the epitome of perfection."

"Wow I didn't take you for that sort of girl ."
Lena had put her hair up in a scrunchie and plopped herself on the bed eating the caramelized popcorn

" Oh of course not haven't you heard of do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires" .

I had come out of the bathroom in my sheet mask and sat on the huge bean bag pillow seat

"Isn't that from the bible?" she questioned

" yes, yes it is".
I sat as I drank some coke

she laughed a bit " hmm look at you, your fitting into your roll already "

"what role ?"

"you have slik set of pink pjamas and cute little white dainty socks from the collection I suppose"

" hey don't poke fun these are the  only clothes I am supposed to wear are from your boss remember" I kicked her slightly

"ok ok, I get it " she smiled

"hey is she ok" I couldn't help but stop thinking about the room incident

"oh that huh you really want to know huh"

"yeah"

she smiled "I checked on her before coming to your room she's fine, she's just organized you see she always has her medications at a certain time and well a ball wasn't going to stop her from doing so what you saw was just routin ofcourse she couldn't just shove a neddel in her arm infront of everyone"

I nooded

"wait so.. this whole thing? "

Lena looked at me confused

"yes..?"

"no one knows huh"

"that's she's got some terminal diseases some of know but only the important figures however everyone else , no at all we had to sign nda's before working for her again after digonoiseses people still think she's in good health hence your play"

"that's why she introduced me as her daughter right"

"exactly if people know you as her daughter they would just think you were some girl she just wnted too adopt but if she introduced you as an heir I mean I think people would put two and two togther"

"but you don't think her out of the blue adopting doesn't seem strange either I mean she never wanted children"

"well yeah it may seem strange but with a story of her wanting a daughter because she loved you so much after having you work for her secretly for years works"

I gasped softly at the realization

"wait so that's my cover story, I worked for her and she then deceided she wanted me to be a part of her family?".

"well something along those lines, Leon toald me that's what she said in her meeting with him

"what fake job did I have ?"

"get this writer for the magazine". I couldn't help but laugh she really used the fact that I wanted to be a writer in the fake cover scheme

"well I must say it was clever" I spoke amazed and shocked at all this new information
