The unexpected audition

Everyone left and I had bid them farewell and had a little celebration for Luke and laurance and thanked them for being my rocks and taking care of me as well as working so hard .

I had given them a vacation for themselves as well .

I took a shower and so did Leon in the guest room as he had been staying for the night since we had decided to throw , a private dinner party that Luke had catered for us before leaving .

we had decided it was time for Leon's parents to meet my parents we both got ready and dressed , I felt nervouse and made sure my siblings were fed and comfortable  in my room , siblings meaning willow and arthur.

I had opted for a  babydoll  mini dress that had been light blue in colour with a monochrome sheen and a square neckline and short puff sleeves and a empire waist from the latest collection I had my French curl braids down and had dangliny earings on with  light make up on and a pair of strappy sliver and dimond hills from the collection as well .

I finshed off by dosing myself in a vanilla scented perfume and layered on a gold necklace.

"you look stunning"

Leon had waited down stairs for me  in a white loose blouse and black fitted linin pants, he had his hair gelled and wore a light gold chain  he looked absolutely dashing .

"noo"

"what?" Leon had looked guilty 

"your giving me those eyes and frankly I look to pretty and it took too long so down boy"

I had kissed his cheek to which he put up his hands in surrender .

"I hope your parents like me"

"they well don't worry" he kissed my forehead and held my hand

"Miss king they are outside, are these people for you? " the security called

"ah yes let them in"

"ok show time" had let out a breathe and so did Leon

our  two families had  came right after another together, and the evening had commenced really well surprisingly it had been filled with warmth and laughter.

There had been these  interactions all night  between our  families, the  cultural exchange and the merging of two worlds , the embarrassing baby and childhood stories shared and the laughter from both our parents becoming best friends .

" ah i'll bring out dessert"

" do you need help"
Leon asked ready to help me.

"No don't worry I am just going to take out the "crème brûlée Luke made earlier"

I spoke back and  Leon helped pull out my chair
Which had earned an awe for from both our mum's
And proud looks from our fathers before I excused myself from the table and had gone into the kitchen .

The conversations had been so different our dads had been speaking about some money stuff that Leon gladly participated in and our mums had been going off on different types of home decor and my mum's class prep and Leon's mum's recipes .

I had smiled happy with myself on how it's going
Then it went quiet and suddenly I had been curious , I walked out to my mum teary eyed and Leon's mum beaming and our dads shaking hands and Leon smiling shaking their hands
" ah what's going on".

"Leon told us about the fashion show and how well it went". 
My mum beamed

"Yes congratulations darling".

Leon's mum had come to hug me after I set down the tray of deserts

" oh thank you so much".
I had proudly smiled and had smiled at Leon.
