FEAR FLOODED THE STREETS OF DENVER. A spree of gruesome killings had plagued the freedom of the residents of the small Denver town.

Y/n Yamada had a woeful insight into the impact the masked killer had on the town as her best friend, Dahlia Kate, found her fate tangled into the hands of the killer.

In fact, Y/n couldn't help but notice how each victim that the cold blooded killer laid their hands on had some sort of relation to her. Of course it could've been a coincidence as the adolescent population of Denver wasn't the most sizeable and that was the targeted demographic the slaughterer aimed for, but still seven out the eleven victims were ones she had interacted with more then serval times.

Yet unfortunately, the killers recent butchery held an agonising grip on Y/n's heart twisting it around and then back to normal over and over again.

"Y/n..." Bruce Yamada, Y/n's older brother, carefully sneaked his way into the darken room watching his sister with eyes of sympathy, he was knowing of what the younger girl was battling in her head.

"hey, are you okay? I got some good news for you! if that's any help.. Vance said they found a weapon left at.. the.. scene! So it's a high chance that whoever this bloodthirsty idiot is they're going to get them!" Bruce spoke with caution in his words fearing that anything could trigger his sister into an even worse fate of her mind.

Yet y/n stopped listening the second Vance's name rang through her ears. For some reason that she couldn't comprehend, she had a roaring suspicion Vance had something to do with the whole thing. She watched him fight before, he'd beat you bloody if you even looked at him the wrong way, she knew all about his obsession with all things horror and scary maybe that could have festered into something bigger- y/n rolled her eyes at herself for even suggesting that. She sounded like every parent blaming their kids clear inadequate mental states on scary movies and rock music but this was the life of her best friend here. She had to give herself some give. Or maybe vance just did it for fun. Whatever the reason Y/n's gut ached each time she thought of the boy.

"hey anyway are you coming to school today?" Bruce simply glided past the topic believing his sisters sudden dissociation was a result of the topic at hand.

"um yeah i will." y/n smiled at the boy before ushering him out, she'd hid her restless self away from the public for two days straight thanks to the absence of her parents, if Mr and Mrs Yamada were here y/n thought she'd surely jump off a bridge as  she would had been thrusted back into the cold unforgiving heinous hands of the world all too soon.

Before Bruce closed the bedroom door y/n called out to him.

"And Bruce, just call them a cunt, blood thirsty isn't even an insult." the younger girl eyes teased her brother as she recalled his last statement about the mysterious killer, y/n couldn't cope with his stupid insults he thought to come up with.
